Alright, I'm in the Mumble if anyone is up for a game.
My first game,
Found a hammer, medium backpack and an (M9?)Combat Helmet.
After an hour or so of play I came across someone who had just started out. I found a gas mask and gave it to him, followed by a pistol afterward.
I guess karma was on my side because as soon as I gave him the pistol I went behind a building and found a mossberg lying between two dumpsters. Yep.
Really enjoying the game thus far though.
I really wish I could get past "Decompress failed" :(
I had a very good haul today, pulled it all off with a small backpack too! I started out at Chicos Hideout where I got basic supplies and binoculars and made my way to camp splinter where I found an M16, and a B93 with 1 clip of 9MM. So then I decided to go to smallview as I was running low on food. As I was scouting the last building I saw a bandit being chased by zombies, I kill the zombies and he shoots towards me with a mossberg. I kill him before he kills me and by the time I disconnected I had: An MRE, 1 Mossberg, 1 M16 (6 Bullets), 1 B93 with one clip of ammo and a Medium backpack. Plus a bunch of medical and regular food supplies.
TL;DR I get 3 guns and a bunch of supplies.
Now the real challenge is getting to the safezone...
I still think global inventory should be removed.
Everytime i die i just think "whatever, i will just get one off my 100 mausers later."
I have the most fucking incompetent teammate right now. Gave a guest key to a mate and so far all he's done is expend all my ammo, attract every zombie on the map, and go through all my bandages.
Story time!
I spawned a new character and went to loot in a town. I found only medical items, food and water, all that good stuff.
Suddenly someone came onto proximity chat telling me he had no weapons. Now, being the kind hearted gentleman I am(IwaswoundedandneededabandagebecauseIdidn'thaveanylol)I decided to team up with him, as I didn't have a weapon at the time either.
That's when suddenly 5 minutes later we were a group of five. I got some antibiotics from someone who I thanked a short few seconds afterward and the plan was put into action. Our fearless leader told us to stay in town until the loot re spawns. Eventually, I landed upon a moss berg upon a garden table and snapped it up.
I didn't know that five minutes later... I would need it.
It started with Machine gun fire up on the hills to the south of the town. It wasn't one of our men so we took up positions near fences and in buildings waiting for the shooter to appear.
That was interrupted when in proximity chat I saw
"Wow."
"You killed me"
Suddenly I was alert, knowing one of our own had been killed. I was with another man before he was taken out by a flashlight. The attacker was fast, but I was faster. By the time he had one hit on me I had already pulled out my shotgun and shot him directly in his bandit face.
Shockingly I found out it was none other than our own leader. I looked around but couldn't find anyone else. He had killed them all... Picked them off one by one like the savage murderer he was.
I walked north over the hills and stopped by a road under a bush and logged off, with 23 zombie kills and 1 bandit kill under my name, I rested, taking in what is sure to come in the near future.
wow really, everytime i spawn my head gets blown off by some redneck camping somewhere.

Goblin peak settlement is a terrible safezone, it's too easy to camp out there and see who's coming out because the entrance is so narrow and surrounded by mountains.
I lost my M4, FiveSeven, and SVD to a spawn kill...

Oh and somehow we both just died while I went to grab him a beer out of the fridge. "Watch my back dawg"

I get back and he alt-tabs back into the game and is like, "uh shit we died".

Well, finally got my game working. All it took was a reinstall, but I put that off for a while because I knew it would take a bit to do and I'd heard several people say it didn't fix anything for them...
Just got done spending a couple of hours running around and gathering supplies to unload at a safe zone. Nothing too special, but I got a two Mossbergs and Jerichos, as well as an M4 semi with a 100-round mag to go with it.
Had a scary moment when I ran across another survivor. He ran around a corner and gave me a bit of a start. I didn't make any hostile gestures, but that didn't stop him from smacking me once with his hammer, at which point I promptly blasted him into oblivion with my shotgun.
Update, a restart did sort it out whoever it was who suggested it on voice chat on mumble :v: I would have spoken more last night but parents were sleeping earlier than usual so wanted to keep it down. I need my own place.
Would anyone happen to have another guest key, or have they given them all away? I have one friend who still needs one just to see if he likes it, already gave my other three away.

Bad luck chief, I can so relate to that though. Just got my skull cracked, along with my mate by some invisible kid with a melee weapon. Lost my large backpack, helmet, M16, M4, Ak-74, AA-12, 9m Handgun, various magazines, food and like 30 bottles of water. Even so I guess I was asking for it carrying around so much shit.

huh, I could revive her.
I would have bought pioneer but I only see the extra cash being used for the logo you get, but that's because I haven't any interest in renting a server or using the credit you get for the in game store. In game store for me ruins the aspect of finding supplies yourself and surviving, but that's my opinion so the pioneer package wouldn't be for me :v:

Game is pretty good although we keep finding weapons with no ammo. My friend is paranoid anti-trust and shot some guy running to us for help. The guy returned the favor by gunning me down :(
Also I don't know why you'd use real money to buy the hats or anything you loose stuff so quickly and you can find all the purchasable stuff out and about. Got myself a boonie and 2 gasmasks last time, my friend got a skullmask and a pumpkin mask.

Someone doesn't know the back route then, I'd make a video of it but if I did it would be camped to shit and back which we don't want.
