Hey guys could anyone please spare a guest pass? If I like the game I will buy it this week and give out guest passes to people in this thread.
I dont want to risk paying for it without trying it, because judging by the feedback this game is getting it's pretty much 50/50 good/bad
Are there actually caves in this game? I've heard there are a few hidden ones around but I'm yet to find one.

That's how me and moffe play, it kinda sucks though when a guy comes running at you with a hammer and you have to resort to blowing his face off for being stupid, only for him to rain water bottles everywhere.

Yesterday I told a guy killing a zombie with a hammer to "aim for the head." He paniced and ran into a house. I asked him if he needed medical supplies and walked up to him, weapons holstered. He pulled out his shotgun and I leaped out of the way before he shot and missed. I pulled out my M4 semi, and tagged him twice in the head.
So, anyone know anything about the new character and the woman in the picture? I assume she's another survivor type, but you can't use them which sucks.

They are for the beta, they are adding an additional 4 characters and those are 2 of them.
Currently though it's just placeholders for the unlock menu.

Oh that's cool, they look pretty decent, even though the one in the menu doesn't have a model shown, I like how the guy is more casual looking.

Well, you couldn't use the guest pass two weeks ago. It activates upon being used, it should be good still

Ok so I'm considering getting this. Simply because dayz is too filled with hackers to be enjoyable atm.
Could someone give me a unbiased opinion on this game, so I don't waste 25 bucks?
Been reading up on it alot and watching reviews and there are alot of stuff in this game that doesn't sound too promising.
like the fact that you can buy survival supplies for real money, aswell as a knife and weapon attatchments.
The animations are beyond horrible and most people who played this game aren't getting the impression they're gonna be improved very much.
The zombies don't work, like at all. And the only fun thing to do in the game is slaughtering players.
If you die you can't respawn before an hour, wat?...
Too little enterable buildings, poorly detailed interiors etc.
Weapons and ammunition is way too rare for it to be enjoyable, and since the game isn't supposed to be realistic, why did they decide to make the weapons so extremely rare?
I realize this game is in alpha, but they claim they've been developing it for 2 years so you'd think it would be further along.
But yeah if you guys who plays this could give me an honest unbiased opinion about this game then that would be appriciated.

You can buy some bats, food, drink, cosmetic items, and medical supplies with real money, but the rest you have to earn ingame currency that YOU CAN'T BUY WITH REAL MONEY.
Animations are bad but they do their job
Zombies are working as of late
You have six characters to play, it's to keep people from just spawning in and running back to their body when they die, circumventing any sort of punishment for not being careful
A lot of buildings and detail has been added in the last patch
Weapons and ammo aren't that rare. I have a big ol' arsenal of weapons I can rely on. They're just (depending on what weapons) the most rare items in the game. Mossbergs are fucking everywhere. I have enough shotguns to build a fighter jet out of.
I never find guns. And when I find them, I never have a chance to use them before being killed. Today I found a pistol and an M4, and also a fancy leather hat and some flares. I was happy with what I found and I tried to climb onto a roof only for a bullet to hit the ground beside me. Ducking down, some guy showed up and blasted me in the face with his fucking shotgun.
My trials up now and I'd like to buy it, but I'm not sure if it's something I'm going to continue playing. I hope to get another 2 day trial code from someone though so I can actually try better and I'll only be buying it if my friend does too, because this game is funner when you're with someone.

I was out near goblin at night with some friends, and suddenly some faggot with an M107 (Or maybe an AWM. It was a sniper, but definately not a mauser or SVD.). Seriously, this guy popped off more than 20 rounds of .50 caliber ammunition EASILY. Either he duped it or got really super duper lucky.
