Presumably theres going to be a FP clan when BETA kicks in right? I'm just interested in playing with other friendly dudes but every time I find a neutral player they run with me for a bit and end up dieing...its like watching a childhood pet kick the bucket.

We still have to deal with guest pass hackers though, while the guest passes last, unless the ban is pretty quick to take effect. Still have my doubts based on those statistics, you'd think it would be more than 0.8% given the availability of the hacks in question.

I hate getting sniped as much as the next guy but I'll snipe people spawning at Echo and Splinter all day.
Well, today turned out to be fairly interesting. I don't care much for telling PK stories, but this one is a bit interesting.
Me and a friend were scouting and looting clearview, we went to the police station as our final stop and my friend decided to run forward without me. He killed someone who shot at him and two other people reappeared. So I unload on both with my M16, get a mountain of loot. I go in the police station and find me a C-mag. Slap that baby in and then 5 people show up outside the fire station. I take 3 out because they got cocky and charged me. And two sat behind cover and I took both out 10 minutes later. While waiting for my friend to come back and get his gear, two show up behind me, miss all their shots and i lay in to them. Both are dead within seconds. Here is the kicker, all these people use that respawn glitch with the timer. They come back all geared up and I got to kill all of them again all while holding out in the police station.
After all this I run out of ammo, I got at least 20 kills about 30 minutes later. All of clearview is a war zone, all you hear is machine gun fire, shotguns, snipers, there is loot flowing though the city. It was all out war, the sever pop was 40 and 90% of the sever was battling it out in clearview. I started world war 3 in this server. It was hilarious, reading global - it was nothing but a mix of crying, confusion and people going "WTF".
I wish I had my fraps running at the time, it would have made an epic video.
Anyone wanna add me on steam for some trade/grouping/duping/ begging for all of your good weapons.

Weird, I had no problem unlocking him with GC.
I spent all of my GC sadly.
Also, new patch is swell. Looks like they finally fixed the hunger bar, too.

I wish they didnt give hackers a second chance. Those who hacked now didnt hack accidentally, they were fully aware that they hacked, and they downloaded it probably because there was no anticheat. That however is not an excuse in my book, as they still hacked. I can see how they dont want to ban them in the alpha, but still, using hacks arent excusable.
Ok, so earlier I was making my way to Castle Pine to stash some good stuff I had found, when out in the distance I saw someone sneaking past the zombies in Sleepy Crest. I observed him for a while with my binoculars. At first, I was afraid he might have a sniper or something, but it became clearer and clearer that he was a newb: he didn't have any melee weapon to kill the zombies he aggroed, he actually tried to crouch-walk his way past them, even though that's a complete waste of time, and in the end he ran away from the zombie train he made. So, at that point, I could make one of two decision. I could just run up to him, shoot him in the face or even melee him just because, or I could give him some supplies to get him started.
So I asked him if he needed help. He said he didn't know English well, but I killed the last zombie that was trailing him, and I dropped him a few granola bars, juice boxes and a couple of bandages. He understood what that meant, so he thanked me with his best English, and we parted ways. I checked behind me to make sure he wasn't pointing a weapon at me, but he was well on his way elsewhere.
Best feeling evar.
Also, how many kills does it take to become a bandit? I'm thinking about avoiding killing normal people and just focus on bandits, but if it only takes 2-3 kills to become a bandit, I might try to see if they're armed first before killing them, because it would suck killing someone that became a bandit through self-defense.

I was being chased by like 20 or so zombies. And I didn't have any weapons, just some food. I was also bleeding heavily.
A guy still thought it was worth shooting me.

Tell that to me where a guy was being chased by a metric fuckton of zombies and I just spawned without anything.
Yes, he shot me.
You get to a certain threshold in the game when you're well equipped enough that there's really no point in killing defenseless people.
