WarZ doesn't have any weather systems silly. Its just not cloudy or rainy or anything ever in Colorado.

They're already banning dupers, but I haven't been banned yet for it, so it looks like it's a manual process. The point is, don't try to get noticed if you're duping! You don't need 100 of the same item for the next 3 weeks. Just dupe when you need it, a few items at a time.
I always help other people out, I give them some supplies and a weapon. :v: although it never pays off and I get killed easily.
Once there was a guy without anything, standing on a car in the middle of Campos city. There was some shooting around because some snipers had a firefight. He asked for help :v: so I rushed to him and shot down those zombies. We ran into a building, I gave him a hammer and some supplies. As soon as I left the building, I was murdered with one bullet. Dropping my precious loot.
I wouldn't dupe at all if I were you, they're not finding dupers from the WAY you dupe but it shows up on the logs. If you do it enough, it'll show up and you will be banned, period

I was sneaking around some small town on a ghost town of a server yesterday when I stumbled upon some kid running around with an M4. There was another kid in a grocery and M4-boy was crawling in there looking sus as fuck. I'm viewing this all from the safety of my binoculars and at any second I expect to see M4-chief light up captain-mossberg. They're both "friendly, you?" and then they both run out of the grocery store and start jumping around having a fucking dance party or something.
I'd never seen anything like it before in this, so I ran out and joined their dance party. We ended up playing together for like 2 hours before we all got fucked on by 1 guy while I was logging off and none of us were paying attention. Was pretty awesome though!

It doesnt matter what method you use, the mods WILL ban you because they have logs of you getting multiple items whilst in a safe zone.
Yeah, I had a similiar experience.
I was at some town and I saw those guys running into it. Looked like bandits, I noticed them in the proxy chat. So I simply said "I see you both, yeah right behind that wall". I scared them a little off although I had no weapons at all and just some food and water. Then we actually traded stuff and I got an AK from them :v: then we stood in the middle of the fucking town chatting about our lifes and such. I stood on a car right in the middle and then suddently I hear a gunshot, piercing through my face. I was so dead, the other 2 were lying on the ground. Paniking and shooting around with their assault rifles. Anyway later on we continued playing together and raiding shit. Although we all died in that ambush.

I haven't been banned yet. I don't think they can actually detect duplicates, I think they only detect people that are getting ludicrous amounts of the same item, just like the way they'll check if people are cheating if they have something like over 500 player kills.
The way I see it they have no [I]direct[/I] method of detecting duplication.
I do not get it, using the dupe technique or glitiching is really taking the fun out of the game.
Duping is cheating in my book, sorry.
I think you should qualify for a temp. ban for doing so.
Also, I had a loot-yielding bad-karma day yesterday.
I left a safezone, can't remember which. I come across a guy called Vüsselva.
I ask him if he wants to team up, and he tells me to go away because he doesnt trust me, so I pretend to turn away and yell in local for others to team up with which makes him see I'm not out to trick him, but that I genuinely want someone to team up with.
So I tag along, and he tells me he's meeting up with his friend.
10 minutes of running later we meet his friend and he gives me a Mossberg, for I was completely unarmed as of yet.
So up to this point, Vusselva and his friend were nice guys, and there was mutual trust.
Then his friend wants to go into Boulder City to find loot, I agree happily.
In the distance I see a lone survivor who apparantly just spawned and I call him out to Vas and his friend and they proceed to unleash hell like I've never seen yet in WarZ.
Apparently both had LMGs and they lit him up. I stand in amazement as I wasn't planning on this, I joined this group to be safe from random killers, not join them.
We continue our path into the city, and a guy called Lt. Imlev comes up in local and says that he sees us, and asks if we need weapons or food. I say yes, truthfully.
He goes "Can I trust you guys? Don't shoot, I'll give you what you need."
I look at Vas and his friend (who are on mic comms, which I cant hear), and I say "Yes, I won't shoot, I promise".
Imlev comes running from shelter and goes into his inventory to give us his supplies.
Vas comes running up and blasts him with his Mossberg.
I felt really bad. They were looting his body which enraged me, because he was genuinely friendly.
I had had enough, I picked up Imlevs AA12 and lit up Vas and his friend.
I never had so much deaththreats slung towards me in chat lol.
Me and Imlev are now best buddies on Steam

It's not like the glitch is gonna be there forever, not to mention there's a wipe coming at the end of the month, so I might as well have a bit of fun in the meantime.

I agree on that, why ban people right now if it's a glitch on THEIR side? They still have time to fix it and there is no real reason to ban* people for it in the [del]BETA[/del] ALPHA.
If it was the full release I would be okay if they ban people for duping.

Yeah, it's a bit puzzling when we're meant to test bugs and the item balance, both in terms of the loot table and usefulness, is really far from done.
Not to mention, the other day pretty much everyone in the Facepunch mumble was like "hey can I have this gun?", "can you make me some ammo?", "I need some body armor", "I want a sniper rifle".
Not a single complaint about the fact that me and Casey were duping.
Yay, killed someone in Campos and got some nice loot. M4 semi, 2 Uzi's an mp7 and some other necessities.

I saw screenshots with a massive variety of guns and equipement.
So far I only saw the mossberg, m4, some ak variant, the AWP and a pistol.

A clip loads a magazine. For example, an M1 Garand uses an internal 8 round magazine, which is loaded via an 8 round clip.
