I don't know how long that's been a feature, but I had no idea until tonight. I was making a trip to Castle Pine to unload a bunch of gear when some assholes started pegging me in the back with some sort of low caliber weapon. I have no idea what they were using, but it couldn't have been anything big because they hit me about three times and I was still [I]mostly[/I] OK.
The problem was that I had no idea where they were, so returning fire was out of the question. On top of that, there was virtually no cover between me and the safezone. So after a bit of deliberation, I decided to just haul ass. I was on the other side of a small hill so I knew I'd have a bit of time before they got another shot on me. It wasn't long before I was in the safezone... And I took a few more hits to the back.
But I realized my health wasn't going down. I stopped and looked back and saw the two bandits coming over the hill. They stood still and took a few more potshots at me in vain.

To my surprise, they proceeded to come closer once they realized I was untouchable.

yup, they still have hitmarkers when they hit you inside the safezone, so if you pretended to panic in the safezone area they probably would have wasted all their ammo on you

For some reason I cant spawn with my character on any server. I connect and then get disconnected after a second int he game. Every other character work fine.

I was playing WarZ, and I came across another person. They had their flashlight out, so I assumed they where as un-armed as I was. They shouted "dont shoot" and I shouted back "okey". It was like love at first sight. We started going around, looting food and junk. They had the flashlight, with which they could bash stuff, and I had binoculars so I could scout out areas for us for zombies and bandits. He would fend off zombies one by one and I would make sure it was safe in other areas. Well, we came across a city, and we decided to risk it. Cities are usually swarmed with zombies (and bandits), but it's the best place for loot. We're rolling in food, water and bandages, we're doing great, and then he accidentally agro'd a zombie. It's usually not a big deal, he can just hit it with his thing for a minute and then it goes unconscious, but we didn't have a lot of room to deal with. The sound agro'd several other zombies (We can usually only take one out at a time, and I anxiously yelled "run", and we bolted it. We found some crates, and we used them to climb ontop of a building (Zombies can't climb). We where going to go off the other side, but the entire building was surrounded. If we had a gun, we could have taken out the zombies from a distance, but we didn't so we couldn't. He then drops all of his shit, and jumps off running, taking all of the zombies with him. I'm safe, but at the cost of his life. It was a sad moment.
The worst part is, I went through his stuff and found an empty gun, which I had ammo for ;-;
Damnit, I have a bug where the game won't even download...they better fix it soon.

SVD + VSS for a m107 + 1mag?
I tried playing this, and it was unbearable. It was just a giant DM, there was a hacker in most servers I joined, this game had potential but would never really work out. I was looking forward to this game but was horribly disappointed.
Here's my recent experience.
I teamed up with Andrew Pinyata. We both headed out after looting a barn towards Small Town. We made it there without much interruptions, although Andrew crashed and disconnected a few times. We left at Sunset, and arrived at night. The village was peacefully quiet, with the usual zombies mumbling around. The first place we visited was a barn on the outskirts of town, and got some food and water for survival. Next, we tussled with some zombies, and I died from a lagged zombie. Andrew survived, but got disconnected.
Second try: We both meet up in Small Town once more and beat the ever-loving shit out of all the zombies with spiked bats. Gathered a few supplies from the town's Police Station (I got a fireman helmet, Wee Woo!) and then snuck around to the shop where we were attacked by a "Civilian" with a shotgun I think. I was his first target, as I was closest to the door, so I died. Boo. Andrew, however, killed him. But crashed and a zombie killed his character as he disconnected.
Third Try: The mad dash back to our deathbeds. I spawned in the southern section of the map, while he was luckier and spawned in the north. I figured I might as well pick up some supplies on my way there, and maybe even die so I can respawn back in the north. I didn't die, but I picked up an M4-Semi, a medkit, a lot of bandages, some small foodstuffs and a skull mask. So now I'm armed. Whoo! There was a large space of nothing as I walked back North, and stopped at the military tunnel. Surprisingly, the zombies weren't outside, as usual. They all migrated into the tunnel, it seemed, so the picking was easy. But then, footsteps from behind me. I hid low behind a sandbag, but peeked out just enough so I could see under the tables that lined the entrance. And sure enough, he walked around the corner. Dressed with an M9 Urban Helmet, a MTV Forest Vest, and he was holding a spiked bat. His armor did him no good when I tore through his face in one shot. Multiple items exploded forth and littered the ground. However, the shot attracted the tunnel horde. I picked up a hammer close by so I wouldn't waste ammo and began laying a beating on the horde as they helplessly tried to reach me on the concrete block I jumped on.
Now, I was looking for a safe zone, since Andrew found our stuff and was on his way to the safe zone nearest to him. I was walking away when I spotted yet another player walking up to the tunnel. I didn't have time to take everything, so I legged it over the hill. I know he saw me. He was very carefully surveying the area as he slowly crept forward. I told him that loot awaited him in the tunnel, and then ran in case he was not content enough with the tunnel loot. And then came Campos, the first major city available to play in. And a large Sniper nest. I planned to go around it at first, but an invisible wall said otherwise. And a note to people trying to get over an invisible wall: DON'T. It will send you rocketing into the sky. I don't know how I got down safely, but I did. I wasn't unharmed, but a few bandages from the other guy fixed that up nicely. And so, I was dashing along the edge of the town, while Sniper fire went off in the distance. I would hide behind trees and protruding rocks every chance I could. The sniper fire from one side of town eventually stopped, but then the other side starting having a hay-day. Not sure if it was aimed at me or not, no bullet ricochets or impacts were heard. And I successfully made it to the safe zone. Checking my kill list, the person I killed was a Bandit.
This round was one of the best I've played ever. This game is truly much better when you play with an ally.

I can pretty much offer you almost anything you want for the m107 + 1mag. Armor, Alice Rucksack, Nightvision, mags, MRE rations, etc...

Anyone knew that you could climb on the mountain south of the airport control tower? Best place to clear the campers in there if you have a sniper.
