It is an excuse when you're trying to market a game. Real girls don't have to (or probably want to) market themselves to neckbeards.
As much as I'd like realism, it just won't happen because it IS a game.

I didn't say it SHOULD be an excuse, I just said it is. It's a sad thing but it's unfortunately very true. I didn't say I didn't WANT realism, I just said it's probably not going to happen for a few reasons.
1. It's an MMO. Stereotypically, MMOs objectify female characters
2. It's a video game. Sex sells, especially in video games.
3. Realism, unfortunately, as much as we want it to, does not always a successful game make.
If you want proof of any of these, just take a look at APB. Notice how almost every female character you see is practically naked. This is entirely by PLAYER choice, since there are no "set outfits" or armor types in the game at all.
Its still not acceptable, being apologetic towards sexism in video games isn't going to help you.

I agree about taking action, if you want to voice an opinion about this, Facepunch probably isn't the best suited forum to deal with your request. Mabey take it up with the Devs on their official forum and talk them about it, if you get alot of support there they will mabey listen.
Today I teamed up with some dude, he asked me if we could coop. I thought to myself, well yeah why not he sure needs some help.
That dude had a crazy arsenal and so on, he told me to come into campos city. We went into that bandit camper building. He said I should wait in a corner. Then we logged in a crowded server and killed everyone in there. I got some good loot. But later I just left it there.
That was the most stupid exploit ever, I deeply regret doing it because it is so lame. I prefer scavenging and doing normal stuff instead of using lame exploits like that.

My viewpoint isn't 'that's how it's always been' my viewpoint is I don't give a flying fuck because I legitimately just do not care about your issue. Okay, so I travelled all the way to Boulder city I believe it was called... Yeah. I ran up to a building, touched the wall and my character just sort of teleported to the roof of the building. Now I'm stuck, unless I feel like jumping down to my death. Best part was I just had found bunch of guns and other supplies.

Looks like you can't handle rational discussion if me and my 'butt buddy' disagree with you. If you don't care and are apathetic about it all maybe you shouldn't say anything to begin with and take your apologetic argument somewhere else. It's not really worth it anymore at this point since you can just get in with survivor.
I guess so.
The only real advantage it gives now is the one month stronghold server, those of which probably won't be out for a while anyways.

Molly is a great example of a hot zombie apocalypse survivor, you don't have to make the characters look like damn bimbos that in reality wouldn't survive for longer than few hours/days to make them look good.

I've always gotten the feeling that people who say "friendly" are usually newbies with no equipment or people luring you into a trap. Newbies don't have anything to lose, so they announce their presence and go on with it. However, people armed to the teeth with just screw you over by trying to get you to turn your back on them for a few seconds. More logical people who realistically don't want trouble will carefully observe the area and go around anybody they see, because I sure as hell don't want to reveal my presence to bandits.

Yeah so far the bullet drop is badly done, becasue bullets like the Mauser's .308 start dropping after like, 100m or less.
I always try to scare them off by saying "I see you behind that wall" or something like that. It works at times.

Once we have our FP server, everybody should group up and together hunt that thing down.
a FP server with different gangs would be cool. We would be rather a close knit community too so hopefully people won't be huge dicks.
