Is it just me or is war z 20 percent zombies and 80 percent pking? I mean, its a decently set up environment with zombies that fill the map, but anybody who knows what they are doing can get across the entire map with just a hammer. (If he doesn't get shot). The point is, there isn't any reason people join up because zombies are harmless as fuck. There needs to be hordes and hordes of zombies roaming around the map terrifying the players. After theres a mutual threat players can choose whether they want to focus on shooting each other or band together for survival. Admit it, zombies are not a threat at all at this point when its a ZOMBIE survival game. (theres also the fact its in alpha now I guess but have they mentioned adding more zombies?)
We've had this discussion before over and over, and despite how powerful the zombies get, it will still not bring players closer together.
This game is sorely lacking huge hordes of zombies moving around. That would certainly set it apart from DayZ.

Why not, I guess I'd need an example. And even if that is the case, more threatening zombies would certainly still be needed to be implemented in the game.

I hope someone is gonna make a facepunch EU server as well. Because in dayz there is only a friggin american server ... and it sucks cuz I refuse to play with 200+ ping in a game like this.

Just saying, there are bigger fish then character looks they need to take care of.. The general public are usually ok with a hot female protagonist. I for one would much rather they focus on making the guns a challenge to use. Like adding recoil and bullet drop, weapon sway depending on how low your stamine is, etc.

I agree with that, there are definitly some other priorities. Although I would love that they would polish this game more and detail the map a bit. Also the clan system is vital.
I hate how objects just stand on the ground and how a lot of buildings are to empty, also some of the structures have severe clipping errors.

I'm fairly sure they won't release the server files but instead host the server on their own box for you, in a location of your choosing (but obviously limited to where their boxes are). Which kinda sucks because you have to pay their fixed price and not whatever cheaper price you pay for your own hardware.

It is his personal preference if he wants his female character to be attractive. The only thing the characters have that makes them unique are their looks, so if the developers want to make them look attractive there's nothing wrong with that. Are you saying that women should instead be hideous in video games? Oh and in case you haven't noticed, you can change the faces on the current female model to some less attractive ones if it really rubs you the wrong way.

That's what I'm thinking but their FAQ isn't clear on the whole hosting thing, they just say yes to hosting yourself and renting, then rants on about renting with no more info on hosting yourself.
Will hugely suck if renting is the only case, they should allow you to host your own as long as you follow an agreement and they put an API key system in place, without it the server files are useless. Kinda like what dayz servers do currently.

I thought the combat knife was just a marketplace item but someone in my group found one before.
They said everything in the market should be in game. I just don't think they have finished up with that yet.
