If I had not buddies to play with, I would leave the game for a few months. It lacks so much still, but has this incredible amount of potential.
I think they should change the common weapons a bit, you always find Mossbergs and the same 2 types of pistols to often. They should put in more low tier weapons or nerf some better weapons. They are just so many good rifles and shotguns that you will barely find anywhere.
I got now a fair load of M4, AKs and Mossbergs.
Played for about 20 minutes on a new character since the rest are fully kitted.
Went to campos city, it looked empty no movement,gunshots or dead bodies.
Go to the apartments to loot where i found a mp5 of course i had to test fire and attracted some other player.
As i hear him downstairs on the ground floor i challenge him friend or foe, No response so i say the top floor is off limits.
He starts rushing up to the top floor me being hidden on the second. Follow him to the 4th before i again friend or foe challenge.
No response again so i gotta assume this guy is either a mute or a bandit.
But with all that sweet gear he appears to have on him i cant just let him go..
So i do my civic duty and relieve the bandit of his weapons and gear, A few C-mags and Nightvision was the most worthwhile on his bandit corpse, He of course got buttmad cause of the trick and called me a hacker before he logged.. oh sweet campos dont you ever change.

It amazes me how childish this is. People must literally try to die because all you have to do is go to low player servers and stay our of high traffic areas and this will never happen...
I hear guys constantly bitching about hackers, I never met one. I think people assume to fast that it is a hacker. Silenced snipers will you kill in an instant without causing any alert. It might look like you got hit by nowhere. Also you die in this game so fast, one shot in the head and you are done. Silencers are really crazy, they make your gun godlike murder weapons.
I was called a hacker once because I was ambushed and killed the guys by taking cover and quickly healing myself during the fight.
I am not saying that this game has no hackers, but people yell hacker as soon as they get killed without knowing the cause.

That's pretty ignorant. I got killed by a hacker 2 nights ago on a server with 4 other people in it. Low traffic servers make you way safer to the average bandit, but not while there are still cheaters getting through their system. I like the game so far but it will have a way longer life span if they continue their efforts to remove cheaters. Their shit about how 99% of hacks are already detectable sounds like a load of crap.

Most of the ones I've seen have just been stupidly obvious, like noclipping through walls, flying through the sky or being invisible and slaughtering hordes of people with a hammer. Though I should mention I haven't seen any of those guys since their latest patch against cheating.

I haven't experienced a hacker since they introduced some more measures
I was once killed by something that sounded like hammering, my pal and I simply dropped dead after getting hit. Then some guy appeared, at first I thought that he had a silenced gun and shot several times at us, being all hidden. But I doubt it though, he simply appeared to fast.
So, they removed a shitton of servers and now everything is really overpopulated...
And then all the servers shut down and it deleted everything that was in my inventory.
Well I'm done with this.
Leaving Echo to head for Smallville, when suddenly I get hammered by a guy I didn't hear or see anywhere around before I walked out of the compound.
And I had so much sweet loot :(
They really need to put in a system that causes you to OD on painkillers and such, ive survived so many ambushes because all I did was spam the insane amount of antibiotics that I seem to find.

Do some players have giant red markers over their head when being viewed through a scope?
Because my friend who uses the same model as me (except for the facial hair) will always get shot by a sniper and they'll just flat out ignore me. He's been killed by a sniper about 5 times in the past hour while I've never been shot by one for days.
They don't even seem to care how well equipped i am compared to him. He's been shot over me for carrying a hammer while I have a gun out, and they don't seem to give a shit whether or not he's moving while i'm standing still.
Just had a bad encounter outside of the Goblin Hills (Or whatever it is called) safezone. So there were some 4 guys, standing around with mossbergs on the perimeter. I went down there with my friend. I had an M4, and my friend had an M16. We said we were friendly, and just wanted to pass. They said nothing. We slowly start to exit the safezone, when they start trailing us. Anyways, it turns into a staredown once we are all outside of the safezone, when one of their friends shoots, I drop one, I die, my friend lights up 2, and one of them lights up my friend.
It isn't over. We are all dead, but then when this ass bandit thinks that he has all of our gear to himself, some flashlight guy nails him in the back of the head.
That day wasn't so bad.

No combat logs were done, if you were paying attention I log out, then WAY BEFORE 10 SECONDS PASSES I'm on the main menu. He edited the video badly there without thinking about it. Minutes had passed before he sniped that guy. I logged out because he was talking to his girlfriend.
If you had even watched the video you would have seen that I am completely capable of taking care of myself, anyway. I don't combat log.

Pistols hardly aggro zombies, shotguns and rifles have a medium aggro range, the .308 snipers have a large aggro range, AWM and m107 have a pretty big aggro range.

whatever the medium range is isnt nearly enough because i can stand in the street blasting away with an assault rifle and the zombies wont even get aggro'd

This game is enjoyable at times and for an alpha it's a lot more fun than a lot of games I've played before. You obviously expect the world but don't realise how much work it is to actually prevent people hacking and keep the game balanced with every little change.

I wanted to reply to this. I'm not that kind of guy who buys a game and expect it to be top-notch in alpha status. I am that kind of guy that gives every game a chance and if it's not my type of game, it will never be.
I'm to much of a baby to play this because it scares me and the fact that I play alone.

Rumour is there is bullet drop but I've honestly only gotten into firefights within like 30 feet so I would have no idea.
...And rumour is they are actually bringing out another content patch soon, but I wouldn't know the details as I'm a lazy fuck.
