I come here expecting the beta to have started.
What with the 100+ posts in a day.
Did that really cause a 100+ posts? :v:
I'm surprised that the screenshots they release aren't on max settings.
I'm surprised you have the gall to criticize an unfinished game's graphics.

lolnotcriticizing
For example, here's War Inc. on max, which doesn't look that bad.

Their screens would look much better.
Well it's not even anywhere finished, War Inc. is a finished game, i'm sure as time goes on you'll notice improvements.

Well yeah but the screens would look much better with AA and such. A bit grainy too.
Well yeah but the screens would look much better with AA and such. A bit grainy too.
Is that really it? Or do you just want another reason to criticize a game that hasn't even come out in beta yet?
War Inc, horrendous. With that said, War Z looks amazing and I will keep my judgment until the game is out.
I would love to pre-order on Steam.
Zeldar just stop posting, pretty sure it classifies as shitposting and shitting up the thread.
Post your opinion and be done with it.
Yeah every post I make in this thread is a thinly veiled attempt at mocking War Z.

It's good you finally understand
Ew people want to be able to spawn directly on buddies and turn off friendly fire when it comes to people in their group.
Ew people want to be able to spawn directly on buddies and turn off friendly fire when it comes to people in their group.
I hope they don't listen to the people asking for that.
I know they will have a group spawn system and being able to see your friends on the screen or the map or something which already is too much.
They're already adding the former, I think.
Nevermind, it's technically the group spawn system.
Hey guys, lay off of Zeldar - remember this is the man who thought that Medal of Honor 2010 was a good game.

Yeah thanks a lot guys. :saddowns:

Funny since I'm usually very optimistic about many games.

Spawning on buddies, maybe once, when the party is made, not after death.
Also friendly fire I'd prefer to be off for parties since I can see alot of deaths happening from it
you know this really bothers me
It’s taking the reloading realism of War Inc., for example, where if you drop a half emptied clip and put in a new one, you effectively just lost all the bullets that were left inside the old magazine.
that's not realistic, your magazine doesn't magically disappear in real life, and why would you just drop it to the ground? sure if you're in a hectic gunfight i can see that but you should atleast be able to pick it back up afterwards
That's exactly why it should be kept.

I read somewhere in the FAQ's that you drop the clip but can pick it back up again with the ammo still inside it.

Surviving, doesn't save every bullet possible to kill zombies with
0/10 survivor

That's where a lot of the tension would come from though, if you have an itchy trigger finger you might find yourself killing friendlies without identifying, which is both hilarious and tense

No. Friendly fire must always be on, how else could you betray your friends? Breaking trust is all part of the game!
All kills must be anonymous to at least the victim, too.

At the most it should say "You have died". And to the rest of the world, they shouldn't know, it'd ruin the experience to just see "Joe Shmoe has been deaded".

In a perfect world, it'd work like DayZ. If you saw them before they killed you, you could remember their name, however if they shot you before you could see them, you'd never know.

In a perfect world you wouldn't know someones name but you could identify them if you spend enough time with them/looking at them
Maybe if you (in the case of day Z) scroll over them, you're able to type something in like "Friendly" "Faggot" "Bandit"

As cool as that sounds, it wouldn't work too well from a gameplay standpoint I think.

You should be able to tag people with either a custom description, their name, or "friend" and have that tag show up to a couple hundred meters by doing a little animation while being within touching distance of them
That'd help team raiding and shit like that

That would make it hilariously easy to backstab somebody.
