The War Z - This IS NOT A GAME, IT'S A SCAM - Games

I'm hearing reports that the new area is clearing up the pressure on the eastern part of the map, since there are now other areas to easily loot guns in. Sounds promising. Anyone know when exactly the loot wipe is? I heard that it's this weekend, but I also hear it's on the 30th.

Nice little game today; Played with a bro, and met up with another guy that turned out to be a CoD Kid. But whatever, he saved our asses once. I saved his. We were walking up a hill from a military camp and he does a quick check behind us to see if anyone was following us and opens up on some guy with an AA-12. Kills him. Later in Campos, we get cornered by a guy with what I think was a B93R, and I open up with my Mp7. I didn't kill him, since he ALT+F4'd after ducking around a corner, although he managed to kill my friend. (Not the kid). I take the gear, and start heading to Goblin Hill (I think that's what it was called) to keep the stuff safe, but then I get sniped. Being a good sport, I challenged everyone in Campos to a race. See who would be first to get my stuff. Some guy named BetaFag won, so he kept the loot. Spawned a new character and ended up south of Campos, but then the internet cut out on me. Yay!

I finally found an M4 (two of them actually) last night, and learned that the wipe was today. So I thought I'd go out in a blaze of banditry and kill some folks. Got taken out by an invisible hacker with a melee weapon...

I had a moderate amount of fun in this game... I'm not going to ask for my 25$ back but i do sure hope it gets at least a little better.

I am still trying to get my preorder cancelled but i got turned away by xsolla, i feel like they are trying to stop people from cancelling and wait till it is to late as the "foundation release" comes soon.

I've been worried about this game for a while, and my experience in the alpha was ruined by the number of hackers I've seen. That and how some of the dev's have been acting hasn't inspired the most trust in me. And a little bit of the rumor mill as well. If this games does get off the ground and is successful I will definitely buy back in. I should have waited and not have been as impulsive about getting in just yet.

Im tired of reddit right now. False info about war z and they are totally nutty about saying how much this game is a rip off and are posting pics of their refunds.

I have to say I stayed pretty far away from this game from the moment it was announced, and the events of the past couple weeks have really convinced me that it was the right choice. Just read [url=http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/141owi/looks_like_we_can_all_stop_trying_no_war_z/]a reddit post[/url] about how Xsolla is no longer offering refunds for the game, on the grounds that the newly-pushed EULA doesn't allow for it. At this point, the entire game looks like nothing more than a money grab piggybacking off of DayZ - and I say that as someone who is a fan of neither game. If you're still hoping for a refund, I'm guessing the only way to do it reliably now is to incur a chargeback with your credit card provider. Best of luck guys.

I just noticed how badly the screen tears when you run this game at 60 FPS. Vertical sync it is. :L

They were trying to tell me to wait until the beta to refund, but the phone service did it immediately, sounds like it was a good decision to get it in early.

Has anyone else heard the zombie screams in the forests at night? Have they been recently added into the game or have they always been there?
