Isn't the anti-cheat program just players sending in reports and then the player getting banned for 2 days?
I'm pretty sure DayZ banned players/updated the anti-cheat every week.
the one thing that i hate is 1. how they are trying to shove theyr cash store in every single feature and after they see its wrong they " try " to change it
second how everybody keep saying PVP is unbalanced atm and the main aspect of the game aka zombies are just too poor
then the devs respond with PVP IS CORE ASPECT ITS PERFECT YOU MUST PLAY BETTER
Also just looking around it seems that the game is pretty easy to get into without buying so most of the hackers haven't bought it either.

that's because dayz has an existing anti-hack software called BattleEye, that is packaged with arma 2.

well supposedly they released one, but regardless, it's clear they're more interested in releasing more content and ways to get people to buy GC than actually fixing current issues with the game like hacking and also stuff like Boulder City, in which there's hardly any loot there
not to mention they never bothered to fix spawn rates after the wipe, so guns are still way too common
Everyone I meet usually have M16s and at least one vest.

i didn't explain how the spawn system works a few(?) pages ago
basically, if you want guns and good loot, you can't just hide behind the safety of a small, empty city. you have to go to commonly visited areas.

Um PVP [I]is[/I] the core aspect. Even in Day Z zombies were never really a threat once you got inside a building, like how they stop being a threat once you jump onto a car.
I wouldn't say PVP is necessarily unbalanced atm though. They just need to adjust loot tables and implement those .22 weapons.

I understand what you are trying to say but this is an argument that is always used and has no valid point. If you compare this game to other games that were in alpha and beta, this is far inferior in terms of quality.
The game developement seems very inconsistent, the transition between alpha and beta is pretty badly done. They only add more content but do not directly adress the bugs that are existing. Now they raised the price of the game which seems total unfair to me, they reduced the time of the guest passes and other things.
The words "alpha" and "beta" do not excuse everything.
The only thing that I can understand is that they have a hard time to deal with hackers and cheaters, it's fairly difficult to adress such an issue. I can forgive them that. Also the massive trend of asking refunds is also a bit exagerated, the customers should know that they bought an unfinished product.

Agreed. The devs come off as extremely shady to me which is why I got a refund, just in case shit hits the fan and it flops.

Not if you have played it and used the product. If you only bought it in its early stages to get it cheaper (AKA pre-ordering), you are entitled to a refund whenever, but this isnt the case here. You played it, and didnt like it, but that doesnt mean you can just get your money back after using the product.

exactly, and when i requested a refund from xsolla they sent me an email stating that i can't get a refund because of the EULA and then they proceeded to ignore the rest of my emails
Funny, since we paid for the game prior to that EULA change.
We paid for it when it was the League of Legends EULA.
Weird. I managed to get a refund two days ago after buying it, just opened a live chat and said I wanted a refund due to hackers ruining the game and such. They asked for my transaction is and it was done.
