It's funny because they're still saying shit like 100 player servers and Hardcore mode when neither have been put into the game, and they even reduced servers to 50 about two patches ago.
Up to 100 Players per Game Server
Dedicated Public Servers as well as Private Servers
Uh, I cant remember were I got my serial key from. Is there a way to view it?
Go through your email.

Would there be any way I could get it on STEAM seeing as I already bought it on the website?
wtf the game is only $15? i paid 20 fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu
If I got a refund would I be able to buy the game again on STEAM?
If I got a refund would I be able to buy the game again on STEAM?
They're gonna let users who already preordered launch it through Steam without an additional purchase.
To do that you'll need to enter your existing serial key, account name and login on a special page and you'll get unique one time use serial key to get copy of the game from Steam. Once it's done, your account will be automatically linked to Steamworks, so you'll be able to use Steam Wallet to purchase GC, and you'll get access to other Steam features such as Achievements, marketplace, etc.
Still waiting for a link to that special page.
so its a zombie game and the devs decided to purely show people killing a few zombies but mostly players
:V
Oh god, the community hub is full of people complaining about the game and some fanboy wars.
Oh boy this is golden.
They showcased the PvP.
Did they just give up on the whole survival aspect.
I believe so
it seems they decieded to ditch survival and reemplase it with glorified PVP
the only survival aspect is eating and thirst but meh they dont really matter now
I think I have the most ineffective clan ever, everything we do is bound to be a failure :v: we are 5 guys.
One of them is always half stoned and always misses everything. He always asks the most stupid questions and he does not even answer properly if you ask him something. Then there is one with the most broken microphone, you barely understand any word from him, making communication really hard. Then we have a dude who is always a pure optimistic guy and runs straight into dangers. Then we have a guy who is totally serious and tries to coordinate everything, but he rages all the time because we have such a poor communication. Then one dude is always making silly jokes and not really focused on the game at all :v: I am the guy who always overreacts and laughs his ass off if something stupid happens. Making the whole conversation a mess.
It's hilarious though.
We wanted to spawn camp near Castlepine and rip off some guys, it ended up by one of our teammates getting shot, we had some insane firefights :v then we proceeded to rip a guy off who was scared by the whole scene. Then some random snipers picked us all off.
Wasn't this originally supposed to be free to play?
What was going on in the chat in that steam video.
So many people wanted to hunt the dev filming ha
* on a slight note its annoying how cheap the game is on steam when many of us here bought it in October for double, or more, the price

Just people talking again.
Now back to being bored.
In the "about the game" section on the steam warz page it says alot of stuff thats not even in the game yet.
-"A Huge Persistent World: The War Z is an open world game. Each world has areas between 100 to 400 square kilometers.
-Explore, Scavenge, Kill, Survive: You are one of the few survivors and must navigate the desolate countryside exploring cities and scavenging for items.
-Play with Friends: Hundreds of Servers to Play on and you can also rent and create Public or Private Servers allocating spots for Friends or Clans.
-No Classes, No Levels, No Caps: Create your own survival campaign, gain experience points and spend it to learn dozen of available skills"
They're gonna get so much shit from false advertising on Steam.
alright, so its 15 dollars on steam once so thats cool. Also you can buy gold credits? that's a easy way to make a serious game look really bad.
In the "about the game" section on the steam warz page it says alot of stuff thats not even in the game yet.
i really hope steam makes them tell the truth or removes it
They could of easily avoided all of this rather than copying and pasting from their site.
in the key features section:
-Safe Settlements where Players can Purchase, Sell and Store items as well a post notes for other players
-Up to 100 Players per Game Server
-Dedicated Public Servers as well as Private Servers
isnt it against the steam/valve copyright to write false features / content that isnt in your game and try to act like it is ?
How does someone view their own serial key?

Check your email
Check your email
I deleted it after I used up my guest keys. Are they sending out new ones?
Recently a game called "The War Z" was released on Steam. This game had been previously released but was just released on Steam. While reading the description of the game I noticed that there are features that are not in the game, AKA complete and utter lies.
Specifically:
"Up to 100 Players per Game Server"
This is false, as there are only servers with 50 slots, no higher.
"Dedicated Public Servers as well as Private Servers"
False, there are no private servers. The only servers are the servers provided by the developers.
"No Classes, No Levels, No Caps: Create your own survival campaign, gain experience points and spend it to learn dozen of available skills"
This is partially false. While there are no classes, levels, or caps the rest is not true. You gain experience but you can't spend them on skills as is there is no skill system.
"A Huge Persistent World: The War Z is an open world game. Each world has areas between 100 to 400 square kilometers."
False, there is only 1 world and it is nowhere near 400 square kilometers.
"Play with Friends: Hundreds of Servers to Play on and you can also rent and create Public or Private Servers allocating spots for Friends or Clans."
False, there is no functioning friends list in the game, and you can not rent or create public or private servers.
May I remind you that this is not a pre-release beta test, it is a full game that was RELEASED, yet it does not host the features that it claims to.
Frankly I'm rather insulted that you guys would even let this product, The War Z, be released on Steam with the lies that infest the description. It's downright false advertisement and anyone who buys it with those features in mind is being ripped off.
i don't know where to send it
How does someone view their own serial key?
This is in response to activating your own Steam version of the game btw, not in response to just buying the game and activating it.

Since you deleted the email with your serial you could send an email to warz support, or perhaps maybe theres an option to view the serial when you open the client, probably not though.

Steam support? :V They may forward the message to whoevers in charge of listing the products on steam since its gonna be a huge hassle as people will want a refund because of the current false advertising going on.

I agree, there should be a huge warning that says that this game is still in developement and that these features may be added in the future.
So is this game worth buying? Heard a lot of negative about it, yet I'm really interested in it.
