I deleted it after I used up my guest keys. Are they sending out new ones?
You're screwed. They said you will need your old key in order to get a new steam key.
To do that you'll need to enter your existing serial key, account name and login on a special page and you'll get unique one time use serial key to get copy of the game from Steam.
Sergey Titov.
Why would you delete a purchase email?
Wouldn't it be better to store it in a folder or something?
Ahahaha oh god this new survey of there's, this is just getting better.

They need to stop adding these everytime we launch the game.

They need to work on their grammar and spelling. They're a company for christ sake.
Where is this question;
"How did you get banned?"
1. I hacked and cheated.
2. A guest hacked and cheated on one of my guest keys.
3. I said something on the forums.
4. I just bought it and got banned.
I'd go with option 2.
EDIT:
Though, I like how the second question has 4 choices saying something like, "****, but you are too harsh and ban too much." While the 5th states you like the management.
Just saw the game went on Steam for a pretty cheap price. I'm thinking about buying it but I've been worried from what I've heard about the game.
Is there anything I should know that's bad or good before I go buy this game?

At the moment the info on steam isn't correct as theres features listed that aren't and may never be in the game,
I personally wouldn't recommend the game but others in this thread would so the best thing would be to go to twitch and watch some streams of it there and decide for yourself, for £10 its not a huge loss if you don't like it.
the game has itself going in the right direction, just slowly. they just have this unbelievably horrible habit of setting high expectations and falling short. i'm going to remain positive and say that they'll be able to pull themselves together and get better at this, but it must be really fucking hard with people constantly slamming them with shit like it being a scam or a ripoff or a huge lie. i think they even apologized about being too ambitious

It's really fucking hard for them because they seem to be considering War Z to be released, yet very little if any of their listed features even exist.
Is it still possible to get a refund for this? If so, could someone walk me through it because I don't want to have to dig through all these 226 pages of people shitting all over this trainwreck :v:
Does anyone have a link to the War Z's support? I can't seem to find it.

Nevermind, you can have your receipt re-sent to you by following the link at the very bottom of here: https://account.thewarz.com/buy/buy.html

If you bought the game AFTER October 16th then you can go to http://xsolla.com/ and contact them.
If you bought the game BEFORE October 16th then you have to contact your bank or Paypal or whatever. Xsolla can't help you in this situation. I've tried.

i agree, it was a very poor decision, especially with the distrust they'd already established, and now with it being released on steam it seems to be rushing ahead of itself yet again.
i'm really hoping this is the fault of some truly awful PR or maybe complete lack thereof and they just don't know how to handle themselves with the community or how the game is presented

I'm pretty fed up with how the game hasn't gotten any better than that time and I read this. I got it october 15.
Amazing.
For some reason, I cannot input my serial number into steam to get it attached to my account. It's rather upsetting.
Also I love how it cost half as much now even though us alpha people were supposed to get a discount off of the full price. (Pioneers got 15 dollars of GC I know but that would mean the base game would still be 15$ when we didn't even have the option to do that)

I wanted to like this game, I really did and gave it numerous chances. I just don't like it anymore. It's not a zombie apocalypse simulator. It's just deathmatch with zombies as obstacles.
the revelations 2012 devs pretty much win over hammerpoint
[editline]18th December 2012[/editline]
honestly all my hopes now are in project zomboid, dead matter and the dead linger
So.
Just bought this on steam to see if it was any good.
I'm getting an amazing 20fps on a FX-8120 @ 4.3ghz with three GTX 570's.
I spent the past half hour running around trying to find ammo because it takes fucking forever to kill a zombie with the flashlight, just to be killed as I was walking down a hill.
The thing must have hated me because it wasn't even a steep decline.
Had a shotgun and a .22 with about 110Xp (if that's jack) when I died.
But I'm not playing this garbage at 20fps.
So is this a game a flop?
Why is this game suddenly garbage? What changed to make you guys hate it? You used to love it.
Hackers. Random bans. No proper support for the customer.
I've heard tumours from the warz emulator folks that the world is only 4km^2 and they scaled the models down quite a bit to give the impression it is big... Explains the physics fuckups, what a joke

Would also explain why everything looks so ugly and stretched.

Got a link to this as I recall reading that's how big the Stronghold maps actually are.
Also color me confused as well, when the game first came out we all had a great time (when the crashing fixed itself) and as the months progressed we became more and more cynical of the product itself, especially after the wipe, then they added more zombies, banned some more hackers (I'm not gonna say legit players were banned as there is no proof supplementing it in addition we all know how everybody loves to play a game of telephone) then threw in some more zombies then all seemed well. Then all of a sudden it goes on Steam and we're bitching about it, yes I agree that the Steam store page is mis-leading since it has features that have not been implemented yet, but besides that and the hackers (especially the hackers) I still find a lot to love about this game and remain optimistic for the future, since I believe it can only get better from here.
I don't like how some people (I say SOME, not everyone) ask for a refund even if they enjoyed the game for several hours. You pay to enjoy yourself with it, and if it has done that you don't really have any reason to ask a refund (even though the devs are morons)
[editline]18th December 2012[/editline]
The game itself isn't that bad (except for the hacking everywhere and weird animations), it's the shit surrounding it which affects it.

I find the game to really be that bad.
I've played it for maybe 6 hours, trying very hard to find a rose in the mud.
Even without the crap surrounding it, War Z is still a D- of a game.
Just had a wicked game for the first time in a while, teamed up with one dude who was chill as fuck, we had flashlights and spawned in a construction area, I watched him for a good five minutes until I lost sight of him, we soon met toe-toe and instantly become best friends. later down the road, better melee weapons, food, no meds. searching town, get caught up fighting a zombie in an alley when these two dudes show up with flashlights and shit, without saying a word they start trying to help us kill this fucking zombie that just wont die, so were hitting it from all sides, 3 flashlights, 1 pick-axe and my original friend goes down. fuck. so after we eventually kill the zombie, the three of us left alive become one. we up to from some town to a ranger station where another of us is killed by a fucking zombie. ONE fucking zombie. Further down the road we run into another player stuck running circles atop of a tower, it was hilarious because theres nothing we could do, he died and dropped two, large backpacks and two large helmets.
anyways we logged off after I find an m16, plenty of ammo and supplies and he dies of thirst.
good game.

I have to disagree. Bought it on the 10th of October and still got my refund from Xsolla.
Hello everyone. I'm thinking about buying this game since it's just arrived on Steam and I've watched a few videos of it and honestly the general opinion on the game seems to vary based on where I look. In other parts of FP people say this game is complete shit, but here everyone (understandably) loves it. Or not. Upon further reading it seems that even people here are starting to hate this game!
Is this game worth buying for a tenner and would it be better played with friends?
