I don't know what to think - it seems like an absolute letdown considering the Steam Store has false information on it compared to what actually exists ingame. Not even a warning that not all features are in yet.

because they didn't fucking say it was in alpha on the store page? they advertised it as if all the features they're claiming that will be done in a few months /are/ done?
I understand the Steam edition is incredibly misleading as of right now, but still.. this is all a bit too much. Saying the devs are shit, saying the game is shit, all because of a misleading Steam upload.

the devs are shit if they lied, and the game is shit currently. don't deny this. just because something in beta doesn't make it not shit, it just makes it have a possibility of not being shit in the future.

I don't find War Z to be shit at all, though? I find it to be a very solid game just wrecked up by the absurd amount of hackers and unnecessary focus towards PvP. The base of the game is actually quite enjoyable with friends. War Z devs said they were working on an anti-hack as far as I know so that's 50% of my issues with the game to be rid of.

how do you know that's what they've intended?
the description on the steam has been around for a while, i don't even think the precisely written words are anything new and have been commonly used to describe the game for a while. anyone who has kept up with war z knows the game is in alpha/beta stages and is not complete. what if the steam description was an error, or a misunderstanding and it was originally meant to be stated that the game was in alpha? unless the devs say otherwise, you don't actually know what was intended so you can't say "they're misleading people and blatantly lying"

Except this game is not in alpha?

Well it does say "alpha test" in the game when you enter a safe zone..
Basically, everything could be caused through miscommunications and that the Steam description was meant to be a list of things "coming soon" or "what we have planned." But whoever applied War Z onto Steam did not clarify that. All these accusations of them "blatantly lying" as if you know what's actually going on behind the curtains is just really obnoxious to me. I wonder how many of the people who are apart of this have even played the game let-alone kept up with War Z up until now and are just jumping onto the hate bandwagon because that's what everyone's doing.
I admit it all looks suspicious, but you never really know what's going on until something gets done. (or something doesn't get done) I just believe in fair chances.
