Buying it isn't bad because you lose money, It's bad because they gain money. Buying the game supports the way the developers have acted.
So apparently that with the respawn timer now increased to 4 hours (ouch) theres an option to "revive now" but it costs Game coins, can anyone confirm this?

So despite the 1-hour respawn already being ridiculous, they've gone ahead and quadrupled it and force you to pay them money to respawn at a reasonable rate.

well i had i REALLY had my hope in the devs but for fuck sake isnt the one time payment enough?
i mean just look at guild wars 2 they DONT restrict you any features after you pay the only thing that involves real money is the gem shop and thats it

You have no idea how wrong you are. There are several titles on steam that are poorly made, most if not all are bug ridden or play horribly.
eh i enjoyed this game a little but haven't really played it in a month or so, bought it for $30 but i might look into a refund because looking at all the recent things going on it doesn't look like it's going the right direction
if it picks up along the way i'll pick it up on steam i guess, but i'm really not happy with the way it is atm

Yeah, it's getting clearer and clearer that everything is just a quick (and shoddy) cash in on the zombie market.
It doesn't help that the developers are totally incapable of taking any form of criticism and coming up with a working system to combat the hackers.
Been following the whole ordeal a few months now and my impression of the game and the developers hasn't changed. At all.
The game getting on Steam might have to do with them having War Inc on there, i'd guess.

First of all, what I quoted from you said nothing about a misleading description. I was replying to what you said which was essentially "Steam approved this game, therefore they tested it." I said you were wrong and semi-explained why.
Do you really think Steam tested WarZ? I know I will get flak from this but have you seen TotalBiscuit's video of WarZ? Have you not seen the complaints in this thread before that?
Do you really honestly think that Steam tested out this game? Testing requires more than reaching the main menu screen.

The zombies don't even chase players in groups like that, they chase players in one line. At least from my experience.

They held a poll on the forums and most people voted for a 4 hour respawn time. Don't blame them for that, it's what the fans wanted after all.

What's with the sudden server shutdowns?
When I saw the early respawn thing I was thinking that you could pay for it in XP that the character that you are reviving has accumulated. That type of system would've made more sense and wouldn't put out a message to some players that it was a way to rake in more cash.
