This developer is a snake oil peddling shitmonger and anyone who has paid them any amount of money should be issuing paypal chargebacks ASAP. I seriously doubt that you're going to be able to get a refund in a few days time and I almost guarantee Valve will be blacklisting this soon since it's getting so much negative attention.

Despite a deceiving description, I can still enjoy the game. Many of those features are (or, as most of you will assume, have claimed to be) coming soon, and a 100 player slot server has just been implemented. However, there is no excuse for having to pay for an early respawn or the advertisement of features which have yet to be included.
The sheer amount of cash shop features and the absolutely horrible treatment of the clientele (and the fact that there are several people who worked closely with the devs and are calling out this company for their fraudulent shit) should be enough to make any sane person keep their distance from this awful game.
You literally have to pay money to have a clan with more than 4 players in it. How can anyone be okay with that?
Their new TOS states that you aren't allowed to ask for a refund either lol

Default clans hold about 15 players default I believe, in addition the only person I have heard that spoke out against the devs was that moderator guy who admitted he lied about everything, I have no idea where you are getting your information at good sir but you may want to do a quick fact check before pointing fingers. Also, all ToS state that you can't ask for a refund, welcome to the world of digital distribution.
I dislike the idea of a cash shop, but no one uses it since you lose those items upon death just like any other loot you find in the world. Also, iirc only one person even remotely connected to the company criticized them (a forum moderator who wouldn't have even known about such details), and he admitted to lying.

Wow I was looking forward to this game, but I guess I never followed it too deeply to see these issues. I still want to try out the game though. If anyone has an extra guest pass that'd be awesome.

Yes, there is a lot of bad things about War Z.
But it seems to me that these zombie games (Day Z, War Z) get rather old if you don't have a group. That being said, War Z is found fun mostly when people are in groups, or if someone is a lone bandit trying to kill everyone.
But I read in a message to us, that they are working on a better anti cheat program with a third party.
Could the reason The War Z came to steam so early, is that Valve is trying to help them out with an anti cheat (Vac) and they could even potentially help them make the War Z a better game.
