warz, dayz, what's the diff. they're both the same game
That's great to hear, if you have an issue then go to their forums. If you came here just to bash them, then come with useful/new information not news from 2 months ago.
Funny thing, you aren't allowed to post anything that could even be construed as a complaint on their forums without getting banned. They also managed to get control of the steam community forum for their game and they went from over-moderating the posts to just straight up deleting every new post in there.
I don't see any rules anywhere here stating that complaints about this shitty company have to use info that has surfaced within the last week.

I mean until you contribute something useful I really don't see what you're getting at here...
how can i contribute anything useful? i don't own the game yet. i just told you i was interested in it. maybe if you were capable of reading my posts instead of being a crybaby and immediately smashing the refresh button and the quote button you would undrestand this.
maybe YOU should contribute something useful since apparently you play the game. your bitching is in poor taste and makes it seem like every player is a little crybaby. is that what i'm going to have to put up with if i go on a killing spree? people crying their hearts out becuase i gunned them down in cold blood and stole their long johns that they spent 3 days searching for? the worst thing about games are crybabies and i bet out of all of them you cry the hardest

Actually a lot of people do cry when you kill them so...........yeah probably gonna have to get used to that.........
i hear a lot of war stories about dayz: about guys avoiding zombies and seeking shelter just to find out that the place they hunkered down in is owned by someone else and the next thing they know they enter a huge firefight and run for their lives, ditching tons of their equipment and losing buddies and pals. is it the same way in warz? is there a lot of atmosphere and intensity to it? or is it really fast paced in comparison?

Well if you read the rest of the last few 10's of pages you would see I DO contribute to the thread with patch updates when they come out/ talking about the game. I mean if I am gonna join a thread to contribute something I would usually first get the game straight before posting. Second, If you have not played the game then why are you here posting OLD news bashing the game? Seems to me you were not very interested if you first time posted just to bash the game.

Well we definitely mastered the art of ambushing somebody in a forest then proceeding to chase them down as they hide behind trees grasping onto their last bag of chips for dear life, it's like a soap opera but with more guns.

i never bashed the game. i called it a budget shooter because, guess what, it IS a budget shooter. it follows ever rule of code that implies that's what it is: it has a budget publisher, a budget developer and open alpha/beta stages (which isn't uncommon in the world of pay2win games but it's usually added to build hype because there's no budget to advertise)
i came in to the thread and posted the picture, yes. i posted afterwards asking about its credibility but some beatnick managed to ninja my post so now i'm apparently worse than hitler. take a chill pill

Ya, nothing scarier than somebody typing "friendly?" in chat and thinking whether or not to respond, since responding reveals that you are there which may lead to him either helping you or hunting you down. Or you could not say anything and cleave his face in with a spiked baseball bat.

I mean I'm not here to debate about who's right/wrong all night because to be honest I really don't care. Plus if you're gonna insult someone don't use that of an 8 year olds grammar. Maybe next time read through a thread before posting, especially if you're "interested" in a game, instead of posting a picture with no comment about it or asking for its credibility.
Try harder, this was fixed right after the game came out.
[editline]19th December 2012[/editline]
This is old as shit too. What are you people trying to accomplish
I think he posted it to say "wow, these devs copy+pasted the LoL tos", like even if it did get 'fixed' the devs were still lazy enough to copy paste the LoL tos.
Best first game ever. Met up with a guy on a server, I was bleeding and bout to die and he gave me painkillers and bandaids, then he walked me through campos city and helped me find some weps. Altogether I got an: M4 semi, M16, 3 pistols, a double barrel, and a mossberg. With a few clips for each. I also found a large backpack and an urban m9 helmet. We then proceeded to a multi-story building where I was gunned down by bandits trying to help him flank them. He took them down and passed on his apologies, then saved my gear for me.
this is the best thread on the steam warz forums

He kinda has a point about Totalbiscuit. I mean the guy even admits in the video that he came into the game with a negative opinion about it and wasn't really expecting much. That and he plays like shit, all the times he died in the video could have been easily avoided. Guy buys a spiked bat and kills one zed with it, then attracts a small mob and blames the game when it's his fault for not going for the head. This guy ever watch a zombie movie in his life?
I'm not gonna lie, the game has it's flaws and it could be way better. Hooking up with a group of friends and going out to explore is a lot of fun though, especially when you encounter other players.

You could play almost anything and have fun if you're with friends.

just gonna tell you, the entire post is a joke. read the first letter of each line.
LOL you don't have to agree to the TOS, decline it and then re-open the game and you can play without agreeing to it
I'm genuinely interested in this game. I'm going to put aside everything I've heard and buy this game during the Winter sale and see for myself if there is anything wrong.
I'm sure there is going to be a few bugs, and some FPS and lag being a Mass Multiplayer after all.
But otherwise I've got high hope for this.

Now this......this I like, this man illustrates his points pretty damn well and isn't all super ultra angry like some people are, this man just generally sounds disappointed but optimistic at the same time
If anything I'm getting from this video, it's that I'm going to be pouring alot more money then I would for hats and shit in TF2.
And that the company that made this game has screwed up before.
Someone who isn't a ranting hater or an overdefending fan want to elaborate on this.

I don't care how much people say they enjoy the game, if a guy like this is calling the shots behind it they're never getting my money. For me, the developers behind a game play a critical role in my decision whether a game is worth my time. The War Z is such an obvious cash grab it's not even funny.
I'm not saying you can't enjoy yourself with a few friends in this game, I'm saying that somewhere along the line you'll regret paying money and investing time in it.

FPS is pretty shit in large towns like campos and boulder, but there's surprisingly little to no lag, for all the hate it's getting this game has some seriously solid netcode

They havent fixed that? ha
Also i cant believe that people are defending the "revive now", Don't you realise that once they implement the skill system you're gonna have a preferred main character because of the skills you've got for that character.
This is like if WoW didnt let you play your main for 4 hours, forcing you to play a low level character thats not as good as you're main, and giving you an option to pay money to unlock your main early.
since people who pay are going to have an advantage over other people since they revived their mains, that have better skills, this is pay2win.
Yup
i gave more than enough time to the devs but its obvious they wont change now
it kinda makes me sad that well..after all they are people like us but god knows how the fuck they get such a crappy ideas
Wow, I took a break in october, felt the game wasn't really fun enough in state it was in at the time.
Is there write-up or vid somewhere that sums up what they did or didn't do besides paying to revive? I mean what happened?
Just browsing their own forums and the Steam Forums, as well as the Steam Community discussion page pretty much sums up everything.
I'm trying to get a refund via Steam, but I have very low hopes considering Steam's policy on the sort. I really do feel stupid for buying this, and then seeing all the crap that's been posted about it afterwards.

You should be able to get a refund due to the misleading description in the beginning. Make sure to input that in the refund request ticket.

Aye, I made mention to it, as well as linking a copy of the original Store page description.
Thanks for the help, rated heart. <3
Friend sent me a one day guest pass.
I have to say this game is shockingly bad.
