Oh i know that.
No, not Valve making a sequal, i ment that "A game has to be good to warrant a sequel"
Tis usualy how it works int the gaming world.... though most of the sequals suck or unless they've made it clear from the story there will be no sequals.
That was extremely unclever now that I think about it
Clearly you still did because you still posted it. And you think you're being clever by saying this.
Kick ass, is what this game is.
It truly is that, how can noone see it?
Liars claim that this game sucks.
Left4Dead and DayZ can go suck it.
Modern Military Shooters flood the market, making this game a breath of fresh air for us all.
Everyone needs to cool their tits and see the good in this game.
Noone forced you to buy this awesome game, so why did you get it?
One and only one flaw I see in this game is microtransactions, but noone forced that either.
Weapons that you lose when you die even when bought just add to this game's tension IMO.
[sp]That was extremely unclever now that I think about it[/sp]
Probably a sarcastic post anyway but never has a title matched a post so well.
It's bad, but i would love to play it only in two or three people on locked server without Pvpers or hackers, just walk around, search for resources ... but I dont want to wait for Paid server
And then what? Sit on your treasure trove of Granola Bars? There isn't anything to do once you get big guns... and you won't have any PvP. It'll be like Guild Wars 2, except it won't take you 80 hours to get to the "end game". (btw, I loved every hour I played of GW2, just couldn't handle the grind for final gear).
You actually sound genuine, unfortunately.
Also, is this actually true? Are there any units at all to map size?
http://www.pcgamesn.com/article/how-big-war-zs-map
Well I did have my fun with this back in October, group of 10 of us charging about the map.
While it was very obvious that this game was probably going to turn into to shit. I had hopes that the devs would see that they are sitting on a fucking gold mine here.
While it is probably too late now, if they got their arses into gear and actually tried putting some effort into this, they could produce a solid product. Then again probably not.

But there isn't anything to do after big guns in pvp too, you just kill somebody, then you get killed and you have to start all over again, eventually get killed 20 times before you get to some gear.

The problem with both DayZ and WarZ is that there isn't really any interesting endgame other than killing other players. Even in DayZ you would find materials to fix vehicles and use them to find other players to murder.
Something sort of along the lines of the non-implemented WarZ Strongholds in DayZ standalone would be interesting to see, i.e. town building and whatnot.
Christ I held off on the refund hoping that the original post that started this all would pass and things would go ahead normally. Now I feel like a fucking idiot for not getting that refund cause of all this shit that went down in the past 2 days
Gonna see if I can get my money back from Xsolla now that the game is released with none of the features they said would be in the final game. Threw in some legal points as well referencing to misleading sales and failure to produce what was sold.
Kinda disappointed as I enjoyed the game but this attitude they have going has put me off it.
Jesus fucking christ, it really sucks how the developers are ruining this game. The game is (In my opinion) fun, but because the devs decided to be retards, everything is falling to pieces. I just hope they keep working on it and perhaps fixing it, but i am starting to lose hope, especially after blatantly lying on the steam release. I just wish they would have kept it in alpha still, until it had all those fucking features.
My mate tried to get me to buy this hunk o shit, glad I didn't now

Thing is that the engine is really rubbish and limited, which is why there aren't doors.
So have the fanboys cleared out and now it's just us "told you so" guys left here now?
I don't even understand how anyone can defend this game. It's an obvious scam. And calling League of Legends bad when fundamentally it isn't is stupid. This game is bad on all levels. LoL may not be for you, but it is still a good game that has a lot of effort put into it, unlike this.

P fun scam.

You should check out the steam hub discussion.
People are actually defending false advertising with "you should have researched more" along with general fanboyism.

We shouldn't have to research a product. Specially a game what was in the description should of been present in the game.
Although I am a owner of the Alpha.
Sergey's mentality is childish how he defended the game and the actions of Hammerpoint on steam release was just utterly stupid.
No one can defend him and anyone trying is just making them selves look stupid.
Worst developer of 2012.
Let alone the game does have a very F2P feel about it.
They need to scrap the micro transactions I'll say that much and live up to their promises let alone it still feels like Hammerpoint is listening to its community.
They're just tripping over their words and excuses.
Im sure that it'll go F2p soon and they'll keep the cash shop.

This is basically my viewpoint.
I had fun with the game, but it looks like it's going to go to shit very soon.
I hope they try to sell the rights.

One of the developers twitters said they were off to vegas.
Gotta burn that money before the cops start knocking eh? :v:
Would you guys be angry if I were to post
"I told you so"?
I remember a few months ago when people called me dumb for thinking this was a quick cashout made from DayZ's coattails.
edit:
you can't make an entire game world and all that comes with it in a couple of months. Why would they just lie about what they have done? If they plan to release it this year in a few months, it's obviously been in development for a while.
The game is fun for the first 10 minutes then you find out the community is all out for them selves.
Devs didn't care much for team based gameplay. Many, many people complained about the player killing. Even DayZ had a need for at least a two player co-op experience by players needing someone to use blood transfusions on them.
The devs are very, very childish.
People have complained about EA, Infinitywards, Activsion and treyarch about being money hungry. But Hammerpoint showed them how to be dicks to your customers.
At least next time a game developer or publisher demands a few extra coins out of your wallet you might hand it over thinking "Well at least they aren't Hammerpoint."
Well, the the only thing they can do at this point is stop development. Which I bet they're questioning.
The only thing that is confusing me is why they still have fans?
Well since I bought the game too early on, I can't get a refund.
I guess the best I can do is sit and hope that they get their shit together, or at least make it into a semi-decent game eventually :/

You could just keep bugging xsolla, or even just do a charge back.

Like I said, I bought the game too early on. October 7th. I can't get a refund. I'm just going to stay positive and hope it gets better.

Thing is, if you have access to the source code of a game you can improve it, they just don't feel like it. They scaled the models down to fit into a regular map so that they wouldn't have to implement a proper terrain system with chunk management, etc. Believe me, it's a bother, it took me (an amateur programmer) an evening to do it right in Unity /sarcasm

Probably because unity is a good engine.
Probably because unity is a good engine.
I know it's a good engine, still that's besides the point, it's drawing triangles in a certain way and accounting for chunks and LOD, plus vertex merging when LODs differ, I'm pretty sure any engine allows the drawing of triangles and the texture mapping of said triangles. The problem with their engine is that they're using a normal sized map, then downscale the models, this screws up the physics due to less floating point precision, among other problems.
