Xsolla support never responds to me, if I leave my email in like they say, will they get back to me even though the chat stopped due to it being idle?

Also didnt they take out the early revival? I'd consider the game no longer pay2win for now.
Having fun rounding up zombies and leading them into unsuspecting players. This one guy was cooped up in one of those markets, I sprinted around the entire town gathering a massive horde of zombies and rushed in there. Was so worth it seeing him hesitate to shoot me with the zombies behind me and fire off all his shit before he got overrun.

Items in the store should be purely cosmetic, they should just implement something like an auction house where players can sell the extra loot they find for in-game money (the one zombies drop), or for other specific loot.
Problem is people will be expecting much more from DayZ Standalone and if it doesn't deliver....Shitstorm is going to brew.
Not really. Most people I know are only expecting DayZ with a slightly improved map and less bugs and hacking to begin with the first release. Mostly core and background changes.
this game was alright when it first released but now i think its pay 2 win.. you have to pay for every feature basically..

Didn't end so well, Dev was one of the 3rd to go down.

I find this game fun.. only when playing with my friends though. Then the fun ends when me and my friends spawn and get randomly aimbotted (assuming because we were all a decent distance apart and all died right when we spawned.)
Were vests always in the store, i can't remember when i was playing, yeah that does give an advantage.
The thing with the store is that you have to be very well geared to take the most advantage of it, i.e. already have some guns when you buy that armor or attachment. Most players with that type of gear usually don't need to use the store at all.
I still think scopes should be more common in the game world though, only found one in all my hours of playing and I must have around 70 hours or so. But it might just be luck, I have 2 friends who found a sniper on their second day playing each, while I haven't found a single one.
The fuck? First pic's from the Gamespot article a page back.
The fuck?
That's a fan wallpaper for DayZ iirc.
That's a fan wallpaper for DayZ iirc.
yeah but don't worry guys, since it's dayz it's just a homage.
Yes, I have multiple times. I'm now getting ignored completely by support.
If you have someone who sounds growly in the household call them, say you have your lawyer here drafting up a motion to sue, put the person on the phone "thanks to the 2007 ruling of the 3rd circuit court of appeals over jimbo v bob my client is entitled to a refund.... blah blah blah get the picture"

Atleast The War Z devs had the decency to change the house.
This is just like when Bioware did it.
Is that like actual promo art? Because the ship on the right looks so half assedly shopped in it isn't funny.
That was a promo for ME3 because the ME3 release/cinematic trailer was aired during the walking dead. As in, AMC "teamed up" with Bioware to promo ME3 and TWD.
That's a fan wallpaper for DayZ iirc.
For starters it is well to posed to be the War Z's work. [editline]22nd December 2012[/editline]
I appreciate the apology but I hardly trust Sergey anymore.
Yeah I agree Sergey just doesn't have what it takes. He cuts to many corners.
Welp, they removed my access from the game since my steam account doesn't have it anymore. Gayness.
gamespy review. 0.5/5 stars. http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/the-war-z/1227010p1.html
Interesting.
How much shit does Sergey have to do to get fucking fired? I'm just looking at all the fax-pas surrounding the guy, and he has done NOTHING but say things that have gotten the company into trouble. You know what, forget firing, maybe he's a good developer *coughbigrigscough*, WHY DO THEY LET HIM SPEAK TO THE PRESS? He has repeatedly flaunted the game's "success" in the face of people with legitimate complaints, called people playing the game homophobic slurs, told people that it's their fault that they misread lies on their page, and so much fucking more. WHY DOES HE HAVE A JOB?
I hope this actually makes companys like steam and their customers double check games on youtube and such. People really blindly bought this, I was all over the war z before it got released and instead of day 1 buy I used an guest pass and waited for videos so I don't ever have to deal with refunds and stress. I was actually already put off by the alpha videos, I knew not much will change because that would take years. [editline]23rd December 2012[/editline]
Not really. Most people I know are only expecting DayZ with a slightly improved map and less bugs and hacking to begin with the first release. Mostly core and background changes.
You need to know that these two arma 3 devs that are in prison worked on the map for quite a good time adding more towns and redoing everything aswell as the whole buildings enterable and broken bloody etc? Also right now the dayz team haves 2 fulltime working mappers to work on the already finished map chernarus+ for even more effect. The talk about new shaders and such was even there, I don't think the game will look like arma that much anymore after 3 months into 2013.
called people playing the game homophobic slurs
To be fair these people he was criticizing were spawn campers, hackers, and glitchers, a detail which oddly isn't mentioned much. Doesn't make it any less immature though, but he wasn't just going around the forums calling random fans of his game faggots.

That's a good thing for the industry. This company's ridiculous business practices will make it harder for other small companies to sell ambitious projects.
