At least this game won't have Far Cry 2 wounded animations.

I wish it would. Getting shot at and then pulling a random fucking nail from between your fingers is fucking brilliant.
They need to put in the Jamie Hyneman zombie, or at least an Adam Savage zombie. I hate that guy in DayZ with his walrus moustache.

I dunno, I found it pretty annoying in the one multiplayer map where one particular fall would always end with you pulling a nail from between your fingers
I mean, how does a long jump translate into a nail coming out of the sand and into your hand (which, also never touches said sand)?
Concerns about the map size?

Or the water making your fingers go spaghetti
[QUOTE=zeldar;37544393]Later they should add rare but randomly occurring natural disasters to the game like flash floods and forest fires. Twister but with zombies everywhere?

Maybe it could damage buildings? Like player made homes.
Is there any footage of players trying to survive intense giant zombie mobs? It's those moments that count, I hope to see some of that soon.

Imagine walking around, grabbing food, and then shooting rings out. More and more rounds, from separate firearms going off at the same time. You think it's bandits going at it, so you take out your piece and slowly creep up on them, hoping to nab the last one before you get downed yourself. You turn the corner to see a gigantic horde of zombies surrounding two guys on a roof.
You then shit your pants, turn around, and pretend you never saw that.

I'm one of those people who would stupidly help them if I had the ammo to spare. Find another building or some higher ground and start picking off zombies, if they start coming after me then kite them around the guys so they can help get them off me.

I should note that shit like this has gotten me killed a lot in other games.

God I can see that shit in front of me, fuck I'm hyped to the max now.
Were'nt we getting beta in mid august?
I'm still concerned that there's going to be a shit load of food and never of those 'ammo or food' decisions like there can be in DayZ, where you want that M240 box magazine but you don't know if those two cans of beans and canteen will last you the trip to the next town.
Also slightly concerned about the freedom of the map and the amount of enterable buildings.

In dayz you are never concerned about food, it's way to easy to get while in the war z you need to drink and eat. Also finding an m240 is so rare that you won't ever have the decision between a box of that and some beans which are everywhere, if not that then you have the hatchet and wildlife animals everywhere for raw meat.
Also confirmed are more enterable buildings compared to Dayz and the map itself is freedom, why shouldnt it be? You think you can only walk 2 highways and not in the forests?

I wouldn't quite say that wild animals are everywhere, but for pretty much every new character I've found that all I need to do is find a way to Chernogorsk, pick up a few supplies there (usually find at least a hunting knife and a compass, in addition to various foodstuffs and drinkables). From there I just pick my way north, hunt an animal for meat, light a fire and cook said meat in one of the barrels by the military tents in Stary Sobor before heading on to the airfield and crawling my way past a small army of zombies...
Fuck I wished DayZ still worked...
I rarely found myself worrying over supplies, but the journeys - even the uneventful ones - were always interesting because I never knew quite who I was going to run across or how many zombies.
Sergey said that a new video is coming very very soon.

Also from these 2 other pictures that wasnt posted here yet you could see that they work on a live action trailer.
The picture that was just posted got me excited as fuck for this game.

fucking retards saying they're willing to pay $30 for the alpha
i mean fucking really? how fucking dumb are these people
how fucking dumb do you have to be to pay $30 for a fucking ALPHA that you don't even know for sure that the game will be good
ALL WE'VE EVEN SEEN IS A 2 MINUTE CLIP OF GAMEPLAY

People have faith. Just look at people who donate to kickstarters
The fact they are testing the waters to see if they can get the money now makes me feel a bit uneasy about WarZ.
To be honest I will probably be one of those people that buy the game at alpha, I mean its only $30 not a lot of money at all.
Guys they mean the minecraft way, you pay for the alpha and then you get the full game when it comes out. They don't mean paying for the alpha then paying again for the game.
"UPD: "Access to Alpha" - means that you'll have full access to beta and fuill game and all future updates. Basically we're trying to understand if ppl are willing to BUY game at alpha stage. "

Not really, he's got a point.... untill there's a little more in the alpha there's no point paying for it... when there's lots of features like they did with Minecraft then it's good enough to.

People are willing to sacrifice a lot in order to peruse something they hold interest in.
For example, the Planetary Annihilation Kickstarter - no-one has any idea what the game will turn out to be, but yet you have people donating $100 on average to the project.
At least here, you get to donate to the project in order to test the game if you have genuine interest in the games offerings and concept.
I liked the 15$ and 30$ way...when you really wanted to play it, 15$ wouldn't be world's end and / or when you got an early access and the game is pretty cool, you can buy it for a lower price in the alpha / beta phase.
"30$ or more" not for me, that's way too much for an incomplete game where you're quite groping in the dark.
