This. My friend and his brother have .22 AR style rifles, and they haven't joined the military or live anywhere near a military base. Although, they do own like 5 other hunting rifles and a few shotguns. I know where I'm going when shit hits the fan.
Anything that is chambered for .22 is not going to be military grade.
Lol .22 militairy weapons.
Why are people complaining about the crysis style attachment system I thought the crysis attachment system was basically the best way a game has ever done attachments
Why are people complaining about the crysis style attachment system I thought the crysis attachment system was basically the best way a game has ever done attachments
crysis was a fast pace action game, this is supposed to do be a survival game, it just doesn't seem to fit especially when it's instant like it was shown in the video
crysis was a fast pace action game, this is supposed to do be a survival game, it just doesn't seem to fit especially when it's instant like it was shown in the video
Well, then they can just add in a longish timer when you choose to change attachment or a longish animation, if it's a problem people will say on the forums about it it's not the end of the world I'll wait for the game to come out before I say that everything is ruined

I feared it would of looked completely arcade. I hope the beta changes my mind and proves me wrong because remember people we can try it out for free in the beta before completely dismissing it.
20min interview with one of the devs and gameplay footage http://www.ign.com/videos/2012/09/20...per-commentary
they really need to stop showing people the gameplay until at least beta
they really need to stop showing people the gameplay until at least beta
It doesn't really bother me because I know it's alpha, also it shuts everyone up as well.
garbage.
It just redirects me to the home page.

It looks like a proof concept.
Game is tearing me apart, I stop following it for a few weeks. Footage and videos is good sometimes but sometimes horrible that I don't know what to think anymore.
Game is tearing me apart, I stop following it for a few weeks. Footage and videos is good sometimes but sometimes horrible that I don't know what to think anymore.
Looks fine to me.
I still think it looks great and I'm still damn excited for it.
From a visual standpoint, I think it looks like Homefront.
i wouldn't care if it had horrible 16x16 textures i'd still play it
As long as the gameplay is solid, I'm sold. And so far it's looking pretty damn solid.
maybe i'm watching a different video than you guys, because all i see is a badly animated guy walking around with maybe 4-6 badly animated zombies in an ugly looking little town in a boring looking forest, picking up candy bars and bandages imo, doesn't look like a "game" at all, just a bunch of shit lying next to other shit

wow developers using budget as an excuse is pretty silly tbh you don't need to be selling petrol to make good games, you need talent and your own assets... plenty of low budget games are great, so far all I've seen is developers having silly arguments online and little satisfying gameplay

*assets made for the game then yknow what I meant
Some new gameplay, well I think it hasn't been posted yet at least Personally I'm still not very impressed, and the footstep sounds are horrible (though they might only be placeholders so w/e)
The only thing I worry about is the sound, gun sounds are good though. Rest of the game looks as expected and a lot of fun.
They still need to work on the melee. Even something as rudimentary as the system used in Skyrim would suffice. I see that they still haven't had a lot of zombie sounds recorded yet and there are no impact sounds when hitting an infected person using melee or a gun. Also, did anyone else laugh at the end when Titov's death resulted in his body disappearing and all of his loot just falling to the ground?
Oh god the lack of sound is immersion breaking, still not gonna get my hopes up I'm gonna enjoy this game with shitty sounds or not.
so much fun oh man
this is much better than anything they shown so far tbh I like it even though in terms of polishing it feels like watching dayz on another engine, with the weird sound, the glitchy animations, zombies glitching out and in
