Yes, they are trying to cash in on the zombie craze. Like every other game developer, they are trying to cash in on making a game that appeals to people, so the get rich. The game is working, as you can see from the videos, so I really dont see how this is "Fishy"?
Even though the PVP videos might have been scened, it doesn't seem impossible at all for situations like that to happen.

I mean fishy as in the quality of the final product. 30$ isn't exactly all that much, but the game still may turn out to be quite bad. That's what I meant as fishy.

I bought the 20 dollar one, only because it was the cheapest of the bunch and was a discount compared to what it will be in a month.
So, anyone outside of the US bought it already? Is it 1:1 or will it be converted into the other currency?

Well, I bought the $30 offer, lets me test out the Alpha, gives me 3 guest passes, and gives me $15 game cash. Something I'm probably not going to use until a lot later. I have no use for the private server/hub though.

No steam support so far, if you order pack 2 or 3 you can access the alpha on october 15th, pack 1 gives you october 31st beta access however (slightly cheaper). i unno game release date.
