What is so boring about the first level? I don't get all the people that say that it is so boring. I found that level to be one of my favorites (gep gun at the beginning? fuck yeah!) And you can go to the destroyed statue of liberty.
It was really funny in the Area 51 final levels, you were given a password, something in the lines of 682*. I was trying to put that exact code for a month before replacing * with 1 :v:

Next time you play Deus Ex, try setting someone on fire in a room full of inflammable things, but don't kill him. Watch in awe as he runs around setting everything on fire! Unfortunately, the guy later ran past an explosive barrel and killed himself.

I remember playing the tutorial of this, randomly posing a mine and jumping on it, losing my both legs. Never been able to reach that damn door remote button after that.
I was amazed when I found out that you can cut off laser beams by using the pepper spray on them. Deus Ex is full of little things like that.

Oh god this. I thought * was part of the code. Turns out you had to keep trying different numbers until you found the right one.

People seriously cannot get passed the first level? I did it on realistic mode the very first time I've even played the game. What was so hard about it?
It was the first sneaking game I've actually enjoyed, due to the good mechanics combined with the fact that you can't use your 3rd person cam to look around corners.

The Catacombs are boring. Once you get to the surface it's a laid back conversation mission.
I'm havins tome problem in DeXIW.
[sp]I'm on Antarctica and I started the generator. Went back up and activated the beacon. I then went back down again to look for some ammo. And when I got up, the aircraft wasn't there. I tried to load a save from moments before I activated the beacon but I can't touch the board. It gets targeted properly but nothing happens when I click it.[/sp]
Speaking of France, [sp]are there certain things that determine whether Jamie is there to give you Gunther's killphrase? Sometimes he's there and sometimes he isn't.[/sp]

When I made that decision I started to regret my decision because I thought he would get found out and killed. I was glad to be wrong.

[sp]When you escape from UNATCO you can meet up with Jaime. Tell him to stay in UNATCO and he will meet you in Paris later and tell you Gunther's kill-phrase. An easy boss.[/sp]
