I mean that if you wanna play demon's soul on PC it's possible but if you want to play demon's soul on ps2 or ps1 it's impossible with the same graphic. PC gaming won't die that easy. PS1+PS2+PS3 will because either people don't buy it anymore because the game you wanna play can only be played on ps4(we're in the future right now) But if you wanna play a pc game you can play it on every pc (Yep, 0,2 fps counts)

If you left your PC alone for five years then you wouldn't be able to play the latest games on it with your current hardware, you would have to upgrade. This might as well be the same as buyng a newer generation console to play the newest games.

Atleast it's longer than the ps1 + ps2 lasted.

Plug in a pc game in a windows 98 and see what happens, it will run but won't install. (Tried it with modern warfare 2 on my virtual pc holy fuck everything got fucked up the time i tried installing)

I bought a PS3 for only exclusives, and let me tell you I'm not in the least bit disappointed.

Because it would cost a lot of money for very little gain? They don't just slap "PC = Yes" somewhere into the code and it instantly works, they have to go over the entire game making changes in order to accomodate the change in control scheme, bring in people with experience with the thing they're porting too as the processing architecture is completely different, redesign the game with various different hardware in mind as people have completely different computers and a shit ton of other stuff I probably have no idea about, not to mention some games just work better with a certain control scheme. Instead of spending time and money porting a game they could be working on their next game which would earn them a lot more profit.

Because some games are just not suited for PC. Demon's Souls would control terribly on PC.
