I was surprised when the faultline video was PC gameplay. There is still hope after all.
Project Reality anyone?
Oh man I just realized that when the character enters a room his eyes adjust to the dark. :buddy: Prime example at 1:36. [editline]2nd March 2011[/editline] I have no idea what they've done, maybe it's the FOV, maybe it's - I don't know, but the cars feel perfectly scaled and 100% real, compared to every other game in existence. [editline]2nd March 2011[/editline] One mag, finally someone gets ammo rations realistic. [editline]2nd March 2011[/editline] Those tiles are the sexiest bumpmaps I've ever seen in a game.

This is just awesome. Activision can keep their trash. And to the DLC's, when it is like Bad Company 2 Vietnam, it's okay for me, a 'whole expansion'.
Hoping we get free DLCs
DICE has always released DLC for PC for free. Only did DICE have you to pay for it on consoles because of Microsofts stupid rules that DLC needs a fee.

Yep, but it was worth it.
Im pretty sure you had to pay for Vietnam DLC on PC.
We had to pay for the booster packs for BF2 untill the recent pack.
I'm in a class right now, so I'll have to see the video later. I read in an IGN article that it confirmed the different firing modes on weapons - single shot, semi-auto, and full-auto - Is that true? That'd be good to hear.
Wohoo, single shot all the way!
Im pretty sure you had to pay for Vietnam DLC on PC.
It's not DLC, it's an expansion. DLC's are content for the existing game, expansions are normally half or a whole new game added. You can consider the free "map packs" for BC2 DLC's, but not Vietnam or special forces.
Im pretty sure you had to pay for Vietnam DLC on PC.
Then again Vietnam wasn't a map pack but something similar to an expansion pack. EDIT: Snipe mode engage

The recoil from the trailer, every single game from now on better have that rattling style.
Pretty much the same thing to me. [editline]2nd March 2011[/editline]
There's no difference between single shot and semi-auto.
Single shot might be Bolt or Pump action.
How Vietnam adds content if it's another game ? you can't just compare it to a 15 bucks map pack.
If it was a seperate game it wouldnt require BC2 to be playable. Im not comparing it to a map pack, never said that, never will. How does it add content? New weapons, new skins and new maps is content is it not? It is not a new game at all, its adding new content to an existing game, engine and gameplay of BC2. But like I said, I look at DLC and expansion packs as the same thing really, you just have some on a smaller scale and some on a bigger scale.
I just saw the trailer and is it just me or does it look much better than Crysis 2?
Yeah, it looks so good, that I'm starting to lose hope of it running decently or even at all on my rig.

Who cares if it's an 'expansion'. If it requires the full game and can download it, whether you pay or not, It's DLC And finally, if this includes Hardcore mode, the switching of Firemodes is going to be extremely welcomed. No point in going semi auto when it takes 8 shots to the chest to drop someone really, unless they're a mile off I know this is the beta, but this is the point I was making:
I just saw the trailer and is it just me or does it look much better than Crysis 2?
Especially the cars. :v:
Haha, did anyone else notice that they censored "fuck" by using a car horn? Listen carefully at 0:35
The new trailer in 1080p, enjoy. Embed in 720p, but click through to youtube and dial to 11 .
Haha, did anyone else notice that they censored "fuck" by using a car horn? Listen carefully at 0:35
It happens twice, but the second one is censored by a heli passing by. [editline]2nd March 2011[/editline] Actually, 3 times, when the car explodes
[img_thumb]http://webyshops.com/ns/images/Trijicon/TRIJICON-ACOG-4x32-Scope-USMC-Rifle-Combat-Optic-for-the-A4-Right-Side-TA31RCO-M4CP-Pic1.jpg[/img_thumb] I hope the DICE will switch their Acogs to M150 RCO (TA31RCO) as it's the one currently being used by the marines. It doesn't have backup sights as seen above and marines are taught to shoot with both eyes open so CQC isn't too problematic for them.
M150 RCO's are still Trijicon Acogs, just a different model.
OnLive NEEDS to get this in their lineup; this should be at the top of their list right now, priority one.
I'm going to jump on the anti-hype machine as well. I am now really skeptical of the MP component being really good. Why would they hide it from us? The Battlefield series has always been about the MP, it is their strong suit, and the only reason anybody ever buys their games. Given that fact, why would they show us singleplayer footage first? If they wanted to hype up the game, they should show us something good. Something new that shows people how great the MP is in their game. THATS ALL ANYBODY GIVES A FUCK ABOUT. So why give us footage of a direct CoD rip-off singleplayer campaign? Its like they took all the wrong lessons from CoD's success. If the multiplayer was really something special, even a retarded marketing director would know to start showing multiplayer features to people first. This screams of mismanagement of the franchise, with the people in charge having no idea what their consumer base wants. They're just trying to go after the CoD fanbase, and they will fail at taking any of it away from Activision. Fuck Activision and fuck Bobby Kotick But, that isn't to say that the game doesn't look good. I just really REALLY hate that they're showing us the sp first.

They're not going to fuck up MP. I'm sure of it.
