They are trained to target enemy submarines and attach a bomb to the hull, blowing it up afterwards from a safe distance. How do they do it? :iiam:
I remember base raping in Battlefield Vietnam.
Spawn on the helicopters and jump out right above the base. The yaw limit to aircraft was ridiculous in 1942/Vietnam. You could go so high up and not see the ground, that was why you could never get shot down.
FYI Yaw is side to side (left to right, directional) movement.. not altitude.
I thought only Natives of the country could be Knighted
Was BF3 at PAX? I'm guessing not

Well the penguin was born and raised in Svalbard, Norway, and moved to Edinburgh.
EDIT: No, so I thought, but it says place of birth: Edinburgh zoo.
How odd.
Maybe there's an exception to animals?
Was BF3 at PAX? I'm guessing not
It was, but only EA Gun Club members could get in to watch the demo :saddowns:
The below is a quote from PAX.
Neogaffer, JackEtc said he peaked under the table as he was leaving the demo and saw a PC with the case off with a single GTX 580. The GDC demo was also running the same graphics card.
(Sourced from PlayTM and Planet Battlelfied)
Now we have an indication of what its gonna take to max the game. Apparently an i7 was also in use, so you'll need a decent quad and fair new card to get good performance out at the higher settings (which was obvious, but at least we have SOME kind of benchmark)
Long story short high end BF3 rig = i7, 1GB+ GTX 580 and 4GB of ram
I hope there's no TV missiles in this game, the last thing I need is a Pr0-Chopper Pilot yelling at me because I can't hit another helicopter with the TV missiles as he's doing barrel rolls.

I currently have a GTX 460 and an AMD 955 X4. By the time the game is released i think i'll probably have a new graphics card.

He had a good reason to yell at you, you need to get better :madmax:
But seriously I hate elitist pilots. I got into the gunner of the attack heli in bf2. The pilot, I guess, didn't want me to be there so he flew over to the map boundary (at sea by the way) where only I was the one out of bounds, since I'm more in the front, and waited until I died. And I couldn't really jump out since we're in the middle of the ocean and I don't fucking want to take 30 minutes swimming to land. That pissed me off so much
The terrorists want ideas?
How about this. A pulse watch wired to bombs, if the subjects pulse drops below 10 for 30 seconds the bombs detonate. Totally feasible and perfect for for example bank heist threats.
Oh ye, max settings. :smug:
I hope DICE would implement a point system like FH2.. depending on what you are playing as and what you do, it scales the number of point you recieve.
For instance, if you are driving a tank and you shoot infantry, you may only get one point since Tank vs Infatry is a pretty one sided battle but if an Infantryman takes out a tank, then he gets 2-4 points, because the odds of an infantryman destroying a tank are low.
This would be an awesome way to stop fighter plane and helicopter faggotry, since people who fly helicopters wouldn't be rewarded that much per kill since they are flying killing machines, wheras if an infantryman were to shoot down a fighter plane or helicopter with a small armament, he'd get 8 points for the kill (or something like that).

Maybe.

No it's a must, always missing out on gold stars cause the guys in the F15 managed to spam bombs everywhere. Even though with all the reckless tk's, you still get enough points for it to be not a problem.
I was at the Pax Thing for BF3
It was a In-Game Playthough of the videos you already saw, but one extra one where they dodge snipers and shoot a building with a RPG. it wasn't a Movie file we saw, it was a guy playing on a computer. So there were no Static cuts or fades.
It looked Amazing In-person. I asked one guy where MP footage was on my way out of the booth and he's all like "it still in the alpha stage" and stuff

Thanks for posting his name. Attack!
God we need content!
Two days left until the next trailer!
The next trailer will be just what the guy said about dodging snipers and shooting a rpg at a building. Still can't wait to see it.

It was also most probably running at the highest resolution they could push on the screen (so 1920x1080 at least, probably more). Also when they run these demos they absolutely max the shit out of the game, probably even above what you can push it in the game without editing the files (not to mention it's in alpha, it only gets better optimized from here on, worst case scenario it stays like this, but it won't get any heavier on the computer).
Was that i7 a 2600k or a 900-something?
So yeah in short, fucking awesome news.
