I wish BF3 had some sort of recording system thing like Halo/Cod/CS:S has There's so much cool shit I've pulled off in BC2 that I've wanted to look at again from 120 different angles [editline]21st March 2011[/editline] Either way I'm still hyped as fuck for this
Solution to the killcam issue: Check the filter that says "Killcam disabled", problem solved. Or, someone make an awesome video about why killcams are bad and send it to DICE. Option number one seems more likely. But I agree, killcams are completely pointless aside from finding hackers, and that's what spectate is for.
Am I the only one kind of annoyed by the presence of a killcam? It seems really cheap to me.
I swear I remember seeing a tweet answering that there will be no killcam. Where did you get this info? Also, we need a new OP, lots of new info missing.
Also, we need a new OP, lots of new info missing.
I've written a new OP, but there are only 2 pages left, I'm saving it for then.
New OP with all the recent new stuff is already written by Spetzaz, but he is saving it all for the new thread which is really soon looking at the post count numbers  [editline]21st March 2011[/editline] :ninja: Like seriously! I waited 10 min. and decided to reply and then you jump out and do it like a boss! :saddowns:
how do you get tods from today
Sorry I wasn't in my clearest state of mind when I made that post. I thought someone said a trailer would get released the 20th. By the way yesterday I visited a university near me and a guy named Patrik Liu held a seminar about his work at DICE, was quite interesting. He originally studied Chemistry and was working with bacteria and genes, but somehow ended up at DICE :v:

Biochemistry and end up in DICE? Sounds awesome :q:
but then it ruins everything, they will just come back and take revenge, which is incredibly annoying because they should not have known where you were in the first place
True, but i just can't stand things like in CS when you just die, and then you see someone running away with a glock, i want to see how it happened, if he cheats, i'm dropping.
While I do hope there's no killcam, I do hope that theres a better "recorder" feature this time. Would be awesome if there was a GTA IV style video editor, with positionable cameras and stuff.. Would be wicked if you could put a camera on a bullet and track it on it's path. While I don't need to see my kills/deaths directly after they happen, I would like to play around with detailed 3d footage later on.
True, but i just can't stand things like in CS when you just die, and then you see someone running away with a glock, i want to see how it happened, if he cheats, i'm dropping.
Ah, see theres a reason for this. CS sucks and it breeds gamerage. Play it at your own risk.

For one thing there is some lag in most killcams and they are not precise at all. If they had a spectator mode seeking out cheaters would be better. There would still be some lag but it's definitely more accurate than a killcam.
Cheating in BF2 usually only happens on maps like karkand where the fighting is point-blank. If you're at a distance aimbots usually cannot account for ballistics. Killcam or spectator wouldn't be much help in maps like karkand.
Well, I can forget about getting this for PC because of my ANCIENT NVIDIA GeForce 7600GS and AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200.... Back to the console *sigh*
Not everyone is made of money
Dude, it's like 800€ (and you get one hell of a rig), you don't need to be made out of money for that.

I could check the final price and see if I can afford it. Ok, I looked it up and it would cost me about 380$US to upgrade my PC..... As bad as I'm having now, no way of that happening.

Processors are a bitch to upgrade but you can get a monster of a graphics card for pretty cheap.
For those of you needing money for a new rig so you can play it at a good setting when its released. Just save a bit of money up from daily going about (whether you have or don't have a job). Take out a bit from your snacks or if you can walk to wherever you go about and use public transport/ your own vehicle. It'll build up over time (You've got several months - It WILL add up) Sure it might be tough at times and maybe there are moments you'll have to delve into your pockets, but this is just for the small pleasures in life. Add it to your bank - safe or whatever and reserve that money for emergencies. In this case a new rig to play all your high end games. Then we can all play the way DICE want us to play - On the PC, at its most glorious. Together. :unsmith:
