The grappling hook in SF was fucking amazing, even if it was a small feature.
They should have it in BF3.
Now imagine escaping a collapsing building by throwing a grappling hook to a nearby building and slinging yourself over.

Or some shit like that.
I'd appreciate being able to throw grappling hooks on tanks and helos.

They need that, and the ability for squad leaders to throw a spawn point disk thing in a toilet or somewhere - the same system for BF2142.
It's a lot better than the "KEEP ME ALIVE" system in BF2. That's my only gripe with squads in that game.
Zip lines. Not grappling hooks
I'd rather not have Battlefield 3 be like Just Cause 2, with people flying all over the place.

Oh god.
Grapple hook a helo, climb up and hijack it.
I'd also love some good terrain movement, vaulting and climbing over walls would be amazing.

Grappling hook as in actual grappling hook, not a spider man tool.

I also hope its possible to stuff as many as people you want in a helicopter like Joint Ops.
And the ability to transfer jeeps and shiznit.
I liked the MEC theme from bf2 more than anything else

The whole cover.
To celebrate, I shall listen to themes of Battlefield.
Looks like destroyed karkand main street, damn

Fuck yeah :hawaaaafap:

Look at the right side of the cover, behind the palm tree. We now know there are skyscrapers. Maybe they are contrinueing the back story of Battlefield 2's Armored Fury. It looks a lot like Miami.
I just bought BC2 today :saddowns:

Don't you worry sunshine, it's still a good game.

...which had palm trees.
Naval warfare would be an awesome addition. One of the reasons i loved BF 1942.
Only if it's between at the most missile boats, because post-1967 Eilat naval warfare is too large of a scale for any Battlefield game to handle.
Oh man, I' already have a load ready.
I hope the jets in this game are buffed more in terms of their cannon's power. I also hope they nerf the bombs a bit, and make it harder to get shot down by missiles. I hate getting plowed in 2 seconds after take off when my flares don't work

Take my money DICE. TAKE IT ALL.

Hopefully fighting on American soil won't become as burned out as WWII games, it's getting pretty interesting.
...which had palm trees.
Karkand didn't have skyscrapers.
Mortar Strikes should be given to Squad Leaders instead of Snipers.
Mortar Strikes should be given to Squad Leaders instead of Snipers.
And squad leader should be based on an honor system. Whoever has the most team based stats should have priority over the guys that just sit there and snipe the entire match.

If I remember right, jets were already hard to shoot down with the pedestal SAMs. Fire two shots that don't go anywhere near your target and five seconds later your prey drops a bunch of shit on you.

Or maybe the recon places the marker and the squad leader check his map and accept or deny the request.
Just an idea, that might be too involved for fast action, but it seems to give responsibility to the recon, but also the SL to work with his team. For BF3, it might work.
Or a squad leader should be able to paint targets for the Commander and the commander has the right to accept the request or deny and tell the squad leader to go fuck himself :v:

I believe you could already do that in BF2.
Or a squad leader should be able to paint targets for the Commander and the commander has the right to accept the request or deny and tell the squad leader to go fuck himself :v:
This was done in Battlefield 2. And it ended up the commander fucking it up and dropping mad arty wherever he wanted. Usually on team mates.
Karkand didn't have skyscrapers.
The buildings on the cover are no taller than the hotel or various other buildings from Karkand.
Those skyscrapers in the background look a tiny bit larger than that. Though perhaps it's actually a Chinese city?
It's probably a generic middle eastern city
