Agree but, they shouldnt make it take like 2 seconds for you to shoot, that makes it too similar to PR and annoying, maybe half a second or maybe an animation showing your character setting up the weapon. Y/N?
That wouldn't be bad.
Ultramarines
Black Templars need more recognition.
well the marine thingy, they are pretty much the "flagship of war" but that makes it sound stupid.
It can be compared to the Ultramarines in the WH40k universe, they use them for movies/games etc. It's because they are the most renowned and appeal to most.
it would be kinda weird if they had you playing as a Indian Soldier fighting against African soldiers :v:
I was talking about how they chose the US Marines over the US Army, but it's no big deal. I just think Marines are overused.
I don't like how they're using the US Marines.
Marines are way to overused in Media, and a lot smaller than the US Army.
And as I heard from a Soldier, US Army Soldiers and US Marines are essentially the same thing, only Marine's are a bit more air headed.
[editline]4th February 2011[/editline]
That and you cannot shoot while you're doing it, nor for a bit afterward.
Perhaps it's because it's a continuation of BF2, where it was the Marines too.
Yeah I actually loved BC2. Its alot better than any other console FPS on the market I think because the battles always feel different compared to CoD and all. But I really hope they don't mess this up.
Boat battles are awesome, I hope to see some happen
Now we just need war blimps
Thing with BC2 is, it can get real fucking intense at times.
too bad its not a PC Exclusive
PLUS they are currently updating the game beta pages :DDDDDDDD
URL For Beta: http://www.ea.com/1/beta
May i Quote "Get Access to the Battlefield 3 Beta"
Jet planes, destructible environment and skycrapers.
Fighting in Paris? Sounds awesome.

Jet planes, destructible environment and skycrapers.
AKA 9/11 reenactments on YouTube 24/7?
When is the beta going to be ?
Jet + Eiffel Tower = it collapsing on top of half enemy team.
Oh how I wish it was so.
What's with all of you talking about Paris? They didn't say anything about that except it would be happening in Europe too.
For all you know fights could just be happening in some hill/forest/city nobody heard about that's located in Europe

Frostbite 2.0 oh...my....god i can't wait to see the graphics !
You said?
So what we can extrapolate from that is aside from the US being in it obviously, The MEC will be making a return.
Russia and the EU are possible as well
ohboyohboyohboy.
You said?
My bad then, but I'm still sure it won't be anything too grand like having the Eiffel Tower or a big part of the actual city in the map. And if they'll be, they would just be part of the background like in BC2 where there's big cities far in the distance or in Vietnam with burning hills.
I want night battles in a city like on the cover. That would be sweet.
With tracer rounds flying everywhere and night vision.
I hope this leads to another Project Reality.
There's always the SDK, so all your Eiffel Tower dreams may come true.
Not true, DICE didn't release the SDK for Battlefield Bad Company 2, it's not guaranteed we'll get it in BF3.
:gizz:
Not true, DICE didn't release the SDK for Battlefield Bad Company 2, it's not guaranteed we'll get it in BF3.
They did release it for BF2 however, which this game is a direct sequel to.

It's not Battlefield if it lacks an SDK.
That teaser didn't make it feel like a true BF sequel at all.
Maybe it's just the lack of the series signature duh duh dun duh dun dun tune.
