BF2 is messed for me too, every time i try to join a server it boots me and tells me to stop running a modified version of bf2 and revert to the latest official patch
im not running a modified anything and i have the latest official patch :(

I started talking to my friends about Battlefield, They really don't know much about PC Gaming so i like to tell them what's going on and then of a sudden when i mentioned BF3 they asked me is it going to be like Bad company 2?. I said nope going to be like BF2 but much fucking better.
Went into a conversation how they didn't know about BF2, Vietnam (Original one), 1942 etc. They thought Bad company and bad company 2 were the only ones for battlefield :(
I hope £35 is just the estimate price. I'm willing to pay that much but it's a little steep so the game better be worth it.

If you think that is much for a battlefield game I have to pay 60£ for Activision games and £50 for all other big games

I'm just a bit miffed since the four PC games I currently have on pre-order are £25-28, and I bought Black Ops for only £30. But, whatever, like I said I'm willing to pay that as long as the game is good.

Yeah, that'd be pretty amazing. Considering we're gonna have jets+destructible environments+BF2 scale battles, I think it'd be the ultimate waste for DICE not to spring for Titan-like Carriers that can sink as a consequence of airstrikes.
Maybe naval battles too?

Everything I've heard about this makes me jizz. I hope to fuck that they don't shag it up the arse like BC/2, and by the sounds of it they don't intend to. I'm especially liking the ability to drag (presumably) wounded teammates, which should hopefully stop so many suicide-revives going terribly wrong, and the ability to deploy weapons where applicable, which should make it a bit more interesting as playing Support. Any info on classes?
I remember in Joint Ops like 64 players got into one HIND or something, it was some Russian helicopter, and if ONE fucking rocket hit it, that lucky bastard got 64 kills :v:

Yeah, that's the one thing I really wanted in a Battlefield game. There's so much unused space in the transport helicopters which could be full of troops, or a vehicle in some cases (Chinook in PR).
