Commander has been "no commented" and conquest will most definitely be in no matter what.
Why wouldn't Conquest be in?
It's like the primary gamemode in Battlefield.

Well that's why I said it'd most definitely be in ;).
I want more game modes in addition to the BF standards.

i really, really, really doubt that the game is going to have animations like that
it's just concept art

It's Battlefield. It's obviously going to be somewhat arcady with some realistic elements mixed in (like the destructable stuff, and dragging teammates).

No it ain't open your eyes, it's probably a shot from the singleplayer or some tech demo but that is definitely in engine.

yeah I was suspicious of that one.
but they're both fake so you can all go about your lives like it never happened.

Re-add Titan, with American and Chinese Aircraft Carriers battling over an Island.
The goal to sink the enemy carrier could be to blow up the Engines or something, then escape on helicopters, boats, or just swim.

Titan mode was some of the best times I've had in the Battlefield series. It was magical seeing everyone run side by side trying to escape the dieing Titan while some support guys provided cover.
What games actually use Enlighten right now? None? Because it looks amazing.
They say they want to make this the best Battlefield game ever, they're going to have a tough time surpassing Battlefield 2142.

I think you misspelled battlefield 1942
I think you mispelled 2.
I know alot of you disagree, but imo 2142 is the best battlefield game. I could never really get into BF2 because of dolphin diving/PKMs/grenade spam, though I had some awesome times on it too.
I just love 2142 :3:
The more immersive a game is, the less you notice all the features they put in. Having piling bodies would add a sense of humanity and pathos to the otherwise mechanical destruction of the battlefield.
It's the human touch to the destruction of the environment; the destruction of soldiers.
But just think at the amount of bodies that would be piling up, it would effect performance. Its not like, theres 32 bodies per team going to be piling up, theres going to be 32 players being killed MULTIPLE times. It may actually just end up making everything look a bit silly.
@TO0815 No comment on commander.
The guy hasnt confirmed or denied a commander role coming back for BF3, but the fact he is 'no comment'ing it is probably a good thing
@BF_Fan_UK Yes, there is bullet drop. Doesn't work the same as BC2 though, it's a much deeper system.
Bullet drop is back, but more advanced apparently, path effected by wind perhaps, now moving horizontal as well as verticle?
@jessewt No comment.
A no comment has been made on the modding support for the PC community, which probably means they themselves are not sure on it yet.
@OD32 No, no tracer darts. That's a bit too BC and not enough BF.
Trace darts gone (this isnt bad company guys)
@XStalkerxx I have no comment on Battle Recorder.
Battlerecorder not confirmed or dismissed, same about a killcam but who cares about killcam anyway?
@Akira123fr Sorry man, no comment right now.
No comment on LAN support
@M0t0rBreath Tracers are in, period. Players need to feel the fire fight, and tracers add to that feeling. You can hide other ways.
Tracer rounds are in (for those that dont know, they are bullets you can see fly through the air, when you see the glowing lines flying through the air on the news or in movies for example)
Battlefield 3 needs humans this time instead of sand filled robots.
Wind compensation is a terrible idea, we have no easy way to tell how the wind is blowing in most games.
Battlefield isn't ARMA
There better be a nice-as-shit SDK, a custom map auto-downloader, and mod support out the ass.
Battlefield 3 needs humans this time instead of sand filled robots.
Not just humans, human shields as well that'll teach those pesky campers!

Titan was great aside from the ridiculous amount of grenade spam and how easy it was for one team to camp just waiting for the enemies to come down one very narrow path. That being said a few maps with two aircraft carriers fighting one another while trying to control some land mass as well would be bad ass. However it doesn't seem like it would take very much to just punch some holes in the side of the carrier with bombs or such and sink it rather quickly.
This made me think of something, with jets suddenly there's going to be the option to blow a crater in the runway and make it imposable to take off (depending on the map); I'm almost hoping there's some sort of automated air defense grid protecting each teams spawns. It would deffently give a reason to send foot troops in to get rid of the runway.
Battlefield isn't ARMA
That's what I said and I got boxes and disagrees.
I would say around the time they release the new patch for 2142.

I thought of that, maybe there could be a no-fly-zone for enemies. Like in BC2, in some maps, one team cannot go into one base because the map's barrier prevents them. It could be like that, and maybe have homing missiles lock on to any incoming jets, with a gatling gun that will auto-target and annihilate them before they can get close enough to do damage.
Then if one team controls the island long enough for the assault on the other to carrier to begind, something could happen, like an EMP Strike or a Stealth Bomber knocking out the Defences, allowing them to assault the enemy's carrier.
