Every multiplayer game on PC was expected to have dedicated servers until MW2 fucked that up and now it's an amazing new feature

Also, rate agree if you want the next thread to be an all around Battlefield thread, keeping Battlefield 3 but adding all the other games. Disagree if you want it to be a Battlefield 3 only thread.

I hope they release dedicated server tools and stop acting like we're all evil and want to mod our stats WHICH MAKE NO DIFFERENCE TO ANYTHING ANYWAY. No point in locking it down like with BC2.

I'd happily play a 64 man vBF2 server. AIX was cool and everything, but fuck me it's big (:q:). Though sniping actually seemed to work in it. Ok, Battlefield (minus Bad Company) then, and I'll post a link to the actual BC thread.

Project Reality's problem is that you can play and be bored for hours....but those 10 minutes when you have a great squad and you pull some epic shit off is what makes it fun. Maybe they'll figure out how to keep the tense realism aspect of it but keep it just arcadey enough to be fun in the next iteration.

Project Reality isn't even that realistic, don't worry. It's like Operation Flashpoint (the new one).

Only thing I want from PR in it is the suppression effect, it was always retarded when someone popped out of cover after I was absolutely hammering their cover with my M249 and they shoot me anyway.

On Darkest Hour mod for Red Orchestra or Insurgency they had pretty decent suppression systems.

They said somewhere that you could feel the bullets on your cover, maybe it was something like that.

Not gonna lie. Bad Company games were kinda poopie. The original ones like BF2 or 2142. That's where the real shit was at.

mhh i liked all the Battlefield titles (including bc2) the only one i didn't like that much was BF 2142.

BC2: if you play regular you have to deal with shooting someone 10 times to kill them because half of your bullets don't exist anyway if you play hardcore you have to deal with a crapload of snipers that don't go for objectives and just camp because sniping is ridiculously easy especially in hardcore once you get past that though it's pretty fun, other than having to go into a config file to change my video settings and deal with not so great optimization

Eh, so 1.5 patch fails- but it didnt delete my exe this time. so i open the game, its im guessing in version 1.41, and apperantly it wont let me in my account, saying my password is wrong. I try to retrieve my account info, and it hooks up my BF2142 account with it instead, where I have no BF2 rank. What the fuck.
