I thought they were just recycling models for testing :frown:

Well you did do us a favor, that Hud was ugly as fuck and I am glad it isn't the one you showed us.
I really liked the BC1 HUD/health system. If they combined the ammo counter with in-clip ammo with spare magazine count, it'd be perfect in my opinion.

I like how they showed the health status of the crates on the top of the screen

I wasn't the one who posted the picture.

This is massively my opinion, where I know I am in the smallest minority possible, but I think BC1 was far superior to BC2 in more ways than one.

Well now I feel dumb :saddowns:
BC1 was a pretty good game, but I got tired of it after awhile, mostly because I was paying $15 a month to have little kids yell at me, telling me "UR SO BAD AT ARTILERY KILL URSELF NOOB"
also yes I bought an xbox just to play bad company
Only 4 classes? God damnit.

(xbox)
Eh, I always played with friends so kids weren't a problem, the game just seemed so much more fun to me. Unlocks lasted a lot longer too, so the game ended up keeping me playing for a while.
Well here's a thing, BF3 looks better than BC2 and plays like BF2.

Hi there.
You know what I want in BF3? A big fucking JDAM that could level entire city blocks. Shit would be cash.
Well here's a thing, BF3 looks better than BC2 and plays like BF2.
Don't know that yet, could be the same piece of bad that BC2 was.

BC1 had a JDAM instead of mortars for the recon, was a lot of fun to use, wasn't powerful enough to knock down city blocks, though.
Yea I just noticed the grenades. BUT THATS MEANS IT WILL BE LIKE BF2, RIGHT? hurr hurr

Am I the only one who likes BC2 or what? And yes, I played BF before the BC series.

Hi there.
I'm just worried it would be like BC2
Am I the only one who likes BC2 or what? And yes, I played BF before the BC series.
Liked it for a month, had extremely high hopes for it considering how much I loved BC1, realized it wasn't that fun and way too close to CoD for my liking. Nothing like an exact clone by any means, but still too close for me.

That's mostly due to FB1 limitations. Now that we have a big cities that can probably be leveled, we're going to need explosives that can make the job easier.

BC2 had way better multiplayer, it's just that the maps aren't as big.

With jets, hopefully we're gonna get a hella cool ground attack plane that could do just that.

I just got sick of it after a while, can't really pin point why.
Because the maps aren't as big. BC1 had maps in the ~32 (BF2) size, BC2 maps are somewhere in between ~16 and 32.
Oh, if on a New York map they had the statue of liberty or something, do you think the same shit that happened with GTA IV would happen with this, like the government thinking terrorists would use it to plan terrorist attacks with planes or something?
Am I the only one who likes BC2 or what? And yes, I played BF before the BC series.
I very much enjoyed both BC1 and BC2.. BC2 just got boring for me after awhile, same as evilweazel, can't really pinpoint why.
I still play it now and then. I'm liking vietnam.

I didn't mind the map size at all in BC2, it just seemed to close to CoD for me, what with all the attachments on everyones guns, perks, regen health, etc. The Vehicle combat and the Destruction were a lot better, though.

It was more fast paced because of the small maps. I prefer the red dot sight / other sight because the ironsights in BC1 were somewhat annoying compared to the ironsights in BF2 (In BC1 / 2 they hold the gun right up in your face and block the whole damn screen). The regenerating health system I liked, because it was very slow. Perks? Come one, there's only the vehicle perk which is practically useless and the one for medics/lightweight thing/magnum bullets or some shit on other classes which don't do much.

I liked the ironsights in BC1 quite a lot, actually. Magnum ammo was annoying, turned quite a few guns into really annoying machines, especially combined with the previously mentioned sights(The M60 with an acog was annoying as shit, especially with magnum ammo), pretty sure you could use the gun WAAAAAY past an acceptable range with the acog too(remember getting sniped with the UMP ACOG quite a few times). Slug rounds were a huge bitch too, no way a shotgun should be able to out power and out range a sniper rifle, I don't care if it's shooting something made by god himself.
Oh well, lets stop talking about BC2 and get on the topic of BF3, shall we?

Except magnum ammo honestly didn't help very much, the M60 for example will kill you just as fast regardless.
Shotguns, yeah, they're annoying but they were just as in BC1.
I didn't care about shotgun range in BC1, they were meant to dominate close range, but with the slugs you could kill someone across Arica harbor, easily. Lord knows I did it more than once.
Lets talk about BF3 now.
