Wait for steam release and buy again.
The patch that would be the precursor to the STEAM release has been waiting for close to 3 years now. I'm not waiting that long to use something I payed for.

Then you shouldn't have lost your account information, there's really nothing you can do other than buy the game again.

Wasn't exactly my choice, years of poor choices of email accounts caught up to me. I know the account name, but the password...I've tried every combination of every password I've ever used. None of them are working.

Same thing happened to me and my BF2 account, sorta. I can play right now, but I lost the box with the manual and disks inside, so until I find it, I can never uninstall.
I bought the complete edition for $15, but I want to find my old box. What I'm thinking of doing is using my Special Forces disks to downgrade my BF2 game's version, and hopefully I can check the CD key again in the registry.
That's my last bet.

Or i can just be a really nice guy and send you a key.
There you go.
i only had 1 problem when installing BF2 and after doing it again and following the install order, it worked without flaw
i've almost never had problems with PB either, i don't know why people always seem to have random kicks from it. don't get me wrong, i've had a couple random kicks here and there over the years but never much nor a huge problem
The steam overlay kicks are the only ones I've gotten.

Fuck Modern Warfare 3, I tried to be nice to Activision by getting both MW2 and Black Ops.
THIS is what I'm going to be playing once it comes out.
Modern Warfare 3 is like revenge of the sith for the star wars prequels
it's like "I seen the last two they were bad but i need closure so i know this thing won't ever attempt to exist again"
But it won't be closure - it's going to sell millions, and then Activision is going to disband the three studios working on it, suing them and taking all the money they earned from it - after that they'll claim some other company disbanded it and sue them. And then they'll sue every hacker and modder after including mod tools on release.
Finally after making billions they will start on Modern Warfare 4, after reuniting the studios with minimum wage.
Only Bobby Kotick.

This, I just want to find out the end to the MW2 storyline. Hell they could write an official novel about it and it'd do me. Pretty over the current CoD formula
uguhgugh that picture pisses me off. I hate it when people slap "tactical" on just about anything these days. Tactical knee pads? How bout just fucking knee pads please. It doesn't match the definition or even the colloquial use of the word.
I don't know why but I can't get used to the weapons on BF2. It just seems pure luck actually hitting someone and doing sufficient damage half the time. No doubt they'll have better feedback in BF3, thats one thing BC2 did right.
Are you fucking kidding?
I feel a bit sad about missing out on BF2, not having the computer for it back then.
I still got it as a present though, had totally forgotten about it until now, should i install it?
I've clocked about 80 hours in bc2 and BF2 seems like a lot of fun aswell

I'd rather have BF2 than any of the BC games.
A classic masterpiece you need to experience!
Just checked my BF2 stats and I ranked up 101 hours. Didn't realise it was that much.
Haven't played since 2008. Looks like it's time for a reinstall.
Only 93 hours here, but I played mods more than vanilla BF2.
Played over 300 hours here pure vanilla BF2, never played any mods.
The #1 player in the world has 4802 hours. Probably cheated though.

Why is that man's shemagh/kaffiyeh covering his clothes instead of his neck? Rolled up sleeves? Smoke coming from him for no reason whatsoever? Damn, I really hope they don't finally decide to market BF2 as a "badass/cool" shooter like the most recent CoD installments. They'd better keep the kids out. All the info seems to indicate that it'll be fine, but images like this always get me pessimistic...

But they're not just tactical knee pads, they're advanced tactical knee pads.

Talk about overanalyzing.

Well they're off-duty gamers, what else do they have to do?
Havent played it 4 years, but I loved BF2, looking up my stats I emptied in 553 hours into that game. No game has EVER had me that hooked or enjoy it for that long. This thread is seriously making me want to reinstall and jump in. Is it still popular (ish?), will I struggle to find populated servers.
There are still pages of full servers, so no, you won't have trouble finding a server.
Why is that man's shemagh/kaffiyeh covering his clothes instead of his neck? Rolled up sleeves?
Uh, maybe he doesn't need to use the shemagh at the moment, so he has it just hanging on his neck, so when he does need it he can just pull it up? And what's wrong with him having rolled up sleeves? Long sleeves might get in your way when you're doing something and whatever environment he's in might be really hot, so rolled-up sleeves make perfect sense.

It's a nighttime urban environment, not hot at all. Really cold, in fact. The shemagh, when not pulled up, rests on the neck, not the clothes. They're much bigger.
IMO, features just there to look tactic00l.

I find it more comfortable if I tuck the bottom of the shemaugh under my clothes. That way it doesn't move about as much, and is alot more neat. You leave enough room to be able to pull over your face but thats about it.
Also the sleeves cant really be explained, its all about personal preference, I try to have exposed arms as much as possible, im not a fan of long sleeves.
I didnt think pulling up sleeves was tactic00l, more casual looking isnt tactic00l, tactic00l would be to have your goggles constantly over your eyes, a balaclava, pulled down sleeves with elbow pads.
All pointless shit basiclly.

Just because it's dark out in a city doesn't make it cold out; in fact the smoke seems to indicate it's very hot out. Either way it doesn't matter because it's just a promotional image and I don't think we will see that level of detail in the finished product (prove me wrong DICE!).
This game is going to be AWESOME!!
