I want to see there is some player limit on sniper/recon class right in the release day. Ammount of snipers in some of the servers in BC2 is insane and i don't want to BF3 end up going that way.
I've always wondered about whether or not the U.S. was fighting against both the MEC and China at the same time, or if the two conflicts were actually in separate timelines or something. Though I may have missed an important detail that filled in the blanks.

Battlefield 3 Possibly Showing At EA New York Event Next Week.
So EA is having their New York press event next week. They’ll be showing some great games as always, but something told me that since Battlefield 3 is launching this fall, that MAYBE they’ll be showing it at the EA event. I tweeted Daniel Matros, the Global Battlefield Community Manager for DICE. I asked him, ‘are they showing #bf3 next wed at the EA event?’ He replied, ‘stick around and find out ’. That was the answer I was looking for. I will be there until the cows come home and if there’s no embargo on it, you can bet I will have everything posted that night. Here’s to hoping…
Source: http://www.thebitbag.com/2011/02/10/battlefield-3-possibly-shown-at-ea-ny-event-next-week/

Or at least I hope so.
same difference at this point in time as the games not out.
True but he quoted all new copies of the game, which could include post release as im sure they still sell new games after the release date. One of the dev's tweeted if you pre order, you get the limited edition DLC. Not if you but it new after release.
@enterbf3 I can't believe how inaccurate your articles are. Faked screenshot and telling people they WILL see more stuff this week?..
And...there reply
@zh1nt0 The article is speculation based off your tweet a few hours ago. The screen shot is fake.

Looks very similar to MoH. I hope it doesn't suck
:eng101:
I really hope this game keeps it form from the previous Battlefield games. I don't want to see regenerating health. It's just so ... arcadey. Well at least it will have vehicles and big maps (hopefully)
The destruction is so sexy. :gizz:

is there a reason why hit registry in BF games have always been off on PC? i played the demo for BC2 on the 360 to see how it was and the hit registry was fine and same thing with 1943 on 360, yet on PC BF games have always had hit registry problems

Whether it lags a lot less on consoles, on PC people have various amount of PCs and can play with a bit of lag drop, which causes awful registry.

I only have 2 requirements for this game: 1) It should be fun. 2) It should be good.
I see your requirements and raise with one of my own: -It should be a proper battlefield game.
Good point, I don't see how I could have missed adding that.
- should not require you to have a future computer from space that resembles the Monolith from 2001 to run the game decently.
- should not require you to have a future computer from space that resembles the Monolith from 2001 to run the game decently.
If so, I'm pretty much screwed Dx Got no gaming computer at all, and would like to invest as little as possible on a brand new one that can play this game at max :crying:
well it's a PC game ported to consoles there shouldn't be stability issues
From gameinformer:
Q: When I think about Battlefield 2, I always come back to the Commander position and the game within the game that arose from having Special Forces objectives. Are those returning in the proper sequel? A: We could implement it, but the questions is “how do you get the threshold lower?” That’s not by making it more complicated. Our challenge is to make sure that anyone that just jumps into the game will get it. One of the biggest problems with Commander was that only two people could use it. Some people like it but most people didn’t care.
This worries me. They are trying to impliment uber user friendlyness into an already simple game. And they're removing a really cool feature as well, that everyone understood.
They could always just have commander ranking seperate or summat. And have a 'bootcamp' level for commander in singleplayer.
Commander doesn't even need a bootcamp. It's simple, there's a big map and big buttons. Click the buttons and the thing it says on the buttons happens. How hard is that? And if you want to issue orders to all squad leaders who can issue them to their squads, it's as simple as it is when you're a squad leader, a feature they said they're keeping.
If you like Commander mode go play an RTS. I don't think it was a bad feature by any means, but I don't really understand the attachment that some have to it. It was kind of cool in 2142 I guess, with the Titan mode and moving it to the middle of the map for total cannon coverage, but still not really a significant part of the game for me.
