Yeah, but, as said in the post, they play coop.
On Lan, BF2 is the best game ever, there's no way you can possibly convince him untill you wave BF3 gameplay in his face.
I think Profanwolf has / had a server with that.
had
my friend will make it (right now he's downloading the files)
actually, I didn't

Visit MoH forums, find thread with posts about how BF3 just looks like MoH with improved lighting and is compensation for the lack of content in MoH MP. (apparently MoH 2010 created urban combat environments, the uniforms used by the US Marines, and the M4 and AT4) I liked MoH, but seriously: :suicide:
Do you have a direct link? Must read this :v:

You LIKED MoH?
How does one do this?

It was fun.
It was fun.
Fun? I could of made something more fun if I took a Bad Company 2 disk and a MW2 disk, shoved them in a blender, taped the parts together and made a game out of it.
Oh wait, that's what they did.

no, you'd probably have more fun playing the game
I liked MoH. I was kinda like if CoD and BF:BC had a love-child.
MoH was clearly the two games fused together. The sound design was gorgeous but gameplay was boring. Hit Detection was terrible too.
Sad thing is this game will fail to outsell the next Call of Duty game, and console gamers will call it shitty.

Who cares? If the console people are going to shit about it let them.

On LAN, me and my friends got continually raped by choppers and jets, no matter where we went.
I think i realize why 2142 wasn't as popular as 2. Not that much variety in vehicles. BF2 had more factions and vehicles then BF2142 to play with and more singleplayer maps.

Actually, one of my friends who has never played a Battlefield game and plays consoles exclusively says he loves Battlefield 3 and will buy it on release (for console in his case).
Sad thing is this game will fail to outsell the next Call of Duty game, and console gamers will call it shitty.
Are you dumb? Why would console gamers call it shitty?
Are you dumb? Why would console gamers call it shitty?
Because a vast majority of console players think that Cawa Dooty is the best thing in the world, and anything actually better is blasphemy. Relate it to the Catholic Church back in medieval times.
Normally, I'm indifferent to different versions of games, because it really comes down to preference...
But Battlefield is the only game series I'll defend to stay on the PC - to me, it just feels wrong to play it otherwise.

You said it like all console gamers had some meeting to decide it was an awful game, which isn't true, at all. I'm sure it will be as successful as BC1 and BC2 were on console, if not more.

no you're not very intelligent
I can't see how a BF game will play out on a console, a pureblood one anyway. Probs fairly clunky, there are like 4 times as many hotkeys in BF2 then there are buttons on a console controller.

My mates are getting this instead of the next cod.

I don't know any of the console players you speak of, while most PC players I've seen act like Elitist jackasses. Hell, Xbox live isn't even as bad as everyone claims. I'd love a PC that could run brand new top of the line video games, but PC owners don't need to whine about how much better they are. Some people can't afford a nice computer, or afford to upgrade. I play the shit out of call of duty, but after playing Bad Company 2, my eyes were opened. I'd finally arrived. Battlefield is the exact type of game I'd been searching for over the years. I'd looked at BF2142, I even almost bought it once, but I never had a computer that could run it. Then a few years ago I got an Xbox 360, and played another game i'd always wanted to play, oblivion, then Bioshock, and the first ever Call of duty game I ever played, COD4. Before I had my xbox, I did play a lot of Garrys Mod, and HL2. But once L4D came out, things went pretty much down hill. To upgrade my computer, I would of had to replace pretty much everything. It just wasn't in the budget.
Eh this probably isn't making sense, It's 5 am, and I've been up since yesterday morning. Got another 2 hours to go.
Oh, and I got that Game Informer magazine in the mail the other day with the Battlefield 3 article in it. Can't fucking wait.

Consoles make gaming more accessible to the average joe, blah blah blah
Does BC2 use the same engine as BF3 will utilize? My system couldn't get BC2 to run smoothly at all.
The article I read said it's gonna use "Frostbite 2.0".
Pretty much an upgraded version of the Bad company engine, taking destruction to a new level. :v: Apparently you don't shoot grenades at buildings until they collapse in BF3.
Guess I can forget about playing the game then.
Guess I can forget about playing the game then.
Really ? I'm playing BC2 on a laptop, and a fairly cheap one, so unless your PC is from the 90's i don't see how you can't run it well.
Also my old desktop was 4 years old, no SLI's, Crossfire or anything like that, all single and fairly old hardware and it could run BC2 maxed out.
Guess I can forget about playing the game then.
Nahhhh, do like me! Buy a brand new gaming computer! Going to spend about $2000 on it in my case :v:
