Oh god, look at his arm when he grabs the chopper. It looks terrible.
Probably just placeholder arms.

Maybe it's placeholder arms.
EDIT: :ninja:

The only thing bad is his armpit. And I do not believe unrealistic represent the quality of the game.
Don't forget Silencers
I really hope you can put those on Sniper Rifles as well, though it would have to reduce the range drastically or else it could be to OP
But <3 tactical

creditability lost
I'd expect silenced snipers, since BC1 (not sure about 2) and MC had them. Though I'm not quite sure how they would work.
I don't know if it has been posted yet but this:

What's wrong with the arm? It's just a weird shadow in the bend of his elbow.
Another one by the same people.

I think it looks pretty bad if you compare it to the surroundings. According to two other, they might just be placeholders.

The trailer goes by very fast, so DICE probably didn't feel the need to make detailed arms just for a scene in a trailer about 9 months(ish) away from release that will only show for about 2 seconds.

The voice is so good by the script he is reading from is so shitty, it doesn't work well with the voice
Voice of a man, script from a child

Obviously, I just didn't expect to see his arm in better detail from that gif. Hence the: Oh god, look at his arm bit.
oh and speaking of attachments, It looks like you are the only solider In the entire world that put anything on his Gun.
Don't we feel special?.
Better than in mw2, where every militia and conventional army has super varied weapons with tactic00l attachments and camouflage. How could a brazillian militia get a Urban camouflaged tar-21 with a holographic sight and an underbarrel shotgun? At best they would have RPGs and AR-15s.
Don't even get started on russians using only imported weapons.

Edit:
Just to clear up, I've edited the post above because I meant that they shouldn't have high tech weapons, not that they should.
I really don't see what's so bad about attachments like red dot sights and such, perhaps even flashlights, and launchers for one class; you know, stuff which is actually used today. I could understand if they said thermal night vision red dot laser scopes where in or something, but all we have seen is an acog and a holographic sight.
Perks on the other hand are retarded, the only "perk" should be selectable levels of body armor where you can trade off speed for armor. There shouldn't be any way to change a gun's damage, rate of fire, or otherwise (aside from a silencer attachment, if those are added).
I dunno man, I'd enjoy hollow points if they had more drop, more damage against unarmored and less damage against armor than regular bullets.
[editline]23rd February 2011[/editline]
But yeah, no stupid "1.25% damage lol" perks.
Oh how I miss the days when even SOF didn't use firearm attachments...

They should add a more visible disadvantage to attachments to balance it out. For example, using an aimpoint would make it less effective past medium-range engagements while iron sights offer the best of both worlds, but a master of neither. Vice versa for optical sights. (Backup iron sights shouldn't be usable in this game)
I don't mind attachments, I just hope there's not so many that people figure out unbalanced, stupidly powerful combinations like in CoD, and you don't need to play the game for 100s of hours to be able to have the same equipment and actually be able to play against people who have played the game for 100s of hours.

Hitting the max level in CoD was REALLY easy.

BR? Gibe moni PLS!
$60 for the PC version unfortunately. I'm going to make an exception on my no $60 PC games rule however, it is a Battlefield game after all.
I asked Repi and he confirmed the presence of a developer console for me

I don't think I ever used the BF2 console, though.

Just watched, didn't disappoint, thankfully.

Still an extremely handy thing to have. Usually leads to tweaking the graphics beyond what the menu lets you do, among other things.
Hopefully a demo recorder or similar feature to BattleRecorder.
A server and client-side recording tool would be the best thing ever for a game like Battlefield 3. I can see a server-side recorder for BF3 being a bit of an issue for server providers because it leads to large amounts of bandwidth consumption, but a manual or even automatic client-side recorder should be easy enough to implement.
they fucking better make sniping somewhat challenging or limit the amount of snipers, seriously sniping in BC2 was stupidly easy
[editline]23rd February 2011[/editline]
attachments are good, but perks are stupid, only decent ones are extra ammo and the different vehicle perks were cool in BC2
