I hope parachutes will have limited uses. In BC2 you can jump down from a 10ft wall and equip the para mid-air, 'just incase'.
I want to see some helo drop-offs and pickups. I try to do it in the UH-60 in BC2, but everyone's like "battle on frontlines and defend the points we have? Let me run back and switch to recon and camp for the rest of the game."
Did that once in bc2's heavy metal with hind (yeah not the best vehicle for such activities) flew around gunning and picking people up and dropping them off. Was fuuuun! Only works if at least your squad can communicate.
Apperantly, the acog has iron sights on the top of the scope it's in the teaser. almost exactly like this pic. [img_thumb]http://www.armyproperty.com/images/ACOG.jpg[/img_thumb]
Plenty of games have that modeled in, just not implemented.
Plenty of games have that modeled in, just not implemented.
The only game I've heard of that has sights + scope is Red Orchestra 2, and it's not out yet. But I don't think it's a really important feature really.
If they had a modified version of wake island with 2 aircraft carriers and made a titan mode i think i'd be very happy
Go to the Carrier's Nuclear reactor and sabotage using explosives with a 60 sec charge. Defuse time would be like 10 seconds, and no one can know how much time is left. You would also need an engineer to hack 2 consoles to open it, and you need that engineer to equip a rad suit (on a part of the ship) to get through. You can't be shot more that 5 times with the suit on, or you have to get a new one.
/\ Pipe dreams.

I was right :v:
Oh Christ. Titan mode on BF3 with carriers. I like your thinking Clark
Oh god all my friends are saying this is a MW2 ripoff URRRRRRRRRH Will the police look in the local lakes?
Oh god all my friends are saying this is a MW2 ripoff URRRRRRRRRH Will the police look in the local lakes?
I heard they'll turn a blind eye if you pay them well
Is the GDC going to be on TV? If so, can someone stream it? lol...
I hope there are night maps, or even better night versions of each map.
I hope there are night maps, or even better night versions of each map.
If they do that there better be working headlights, flashlight attachments, perhaps even night vision (I say perhaps because, imo, it's much cooler to not be able to see a damn thing, the only light coming from the moon, gunfire, and explosions instead of pressing a button and being able to see clear as day).
Oh god all my friends are saying this is a MW2 ripoff URRRRRRRRRH Will the police look in the local lakes?
Well they both have guns.
I miss the ziplines and grappling hooks. Time to reinstall Special Forces!

No scopes, Carrying Handles, Backup sights, etc. nothing. [editline]28th February 2011[/editline] Notice the guy on the left has nothing on his top rail. None of them have iron sights in any of the pictures or gifs or anything. The player is the only one with an optic.
Well they both have guns.
MW2 invented guns [editline]28th February 2011[/editline]
None of them have iron sights in any of the pictures or gifs or anything. I'm pretty sure they won't leave them like that though.
Even with today's proliferation of NVGs, having flares would be nice, and having a mechanic where bright lights (weapon lights and flares) will dazzle NVG users could balance it out.
Strobes. Strobes everywhere.
I think 2142 did the squad spawning better - throw the spawn disk in a inconspicuous place, and once the enemy destroys it, you need a new one. At least everyone became part of the fight then. I sometimes felt bad when I was squad leader in BF2 - I had to stay out of the heat of combat and watch from the sidelines, and let my team come back and attack. All you became was a mobile spawn that has contact with the commander. I kinda hope I can look down and see my legs like in the trailer, too. Just throwing that out there.
Ha, I remember using those drop pods as a squad leader in 2142, and there was a map with tall flats, and everyone would spawn at the top. It was fun. :v:
Any updates?
I hope there are night maps, or even better night versions of each map.
And/or a map with a daycycle.
And/or a map with a daycycle.
What kind of gamemode is going to be long enough to show any difference?
Conquest 5000 tickets, of course
Battlefield game, Co-op campaign, awesome graphics, DX11, Battlefield game. Screw the other games, im saving up for this. :frogc00l:
No commander mode? Shit... at least give bigger squads and squad leader please.
6 or 8 player squads, yes please. [editline]28th February 2011[/editline] 4 just felt too small scale.
