1.how much are they planning to improve source sdk
2.is valve going to make ep3 with portal 2 engine ?

6.will they make upcoming games cross platform (i mean will i be able to play on my pc with some mac and ps3 users on the same server?)

- ETA for Source SDK update which is meant to make things easier?
- Is there going to be a Source 2009 SDK update? So we can compile OB mods for Mac OS and the like
- Is there going to be a Source SDK [b]with code[/b] for Portal 2 (or at least for the engine so we can take advantage of the new lighting tech without the Portal 2 source)?
Ask him "When is Counter-Strike 2 coming out?"

ask them if they plan to add realtime lighting to hammer (as in you compile the map and the map's lighting is shown in the editor or something like unrealED)
With the recent tech additions to engines such as Unreal Engine 3 and CryEngine 3 shown at GDC, does Valve feel like the Source Engine is falling behind? And if so, what do they plan on doing to improve their engine?
-With the Source SDK improvements, is Face Poser going to be improved, so that we can extract phonemes on Windows Vista and up?

Ask them if the external studios (turtle rock, DOTA team) that Valve bought have their own projects and if they can also hire them in their name, not Valve's
Ask why they gave classes other than Medic the ability to heal. Like the Black Box, Mad Milk, The Powerjack, Sandvich, and the Eyelander.

Ask how the Mad Milk and Black box work, what's the science behind them? How exactly is the player getting health from shooting at someone covered in milk or getting health from shooting a rocket at an enemy

Portal 2 doesn't have "new lighting tech" really, anything portal 2 has is easily possible if you know what you're doing.
Are there plans to add achievements to the GoldSRC games, like HL1, TFC and the HL1 expansions? I've noticed that Op4 and Ricochet have a few test achievements, so they were definitely working on it at one time.

It'd be nice if they could just move away from baked lighting instead of leaving it to modders like Biohazard. It'd make everyone's job a lot easier.

Both of those are projected texture bugs which are still present in Episodic Source 2007, even try them for yourself on curved surfaces and detailed props.

Regardless, there's still lightmaps. The top right tunnel area has loads of lightmap artefacts.
Ask them when they'll release the new Source SDK tools / when the new [B]main[/B] engine branch will be available for people to use

Biohazard was hired by Valve, so we should expect something cool soon :wink:
Here's a few questions I have to put forward.
1: What is your planned direction of development after Portal 2 and Dota 2?
2: Concerning the HEV suit, are there going to be any new "features" that could be implemented in later installments? And if so, will the "sign language system" be one of them?
3: I heard that Valve's been planning a bit of a crafting revamp for Team Fortress 2. What does this overhaul entail, and what could potentially come out of it?
1. Is valve planning to add more specialties to steam with a subscription?
2. Will pay-per-month games come out to steam (WoW etc..)
3. Is valve going to fix offline-mode and its glitches (Updates are required to play this game etc..)
4. Does valve have an estimated date for the new GUI for SDK?
5. Will L4D2 have anymore weapons in future campaigns?
6. Will we be able to customize the in-game steam HUD (move the steam logo, add more buttons etc.)?
My 6 questions
