good luck with that
Go inside, and rob all EP3 concept art, and then run!
Here's what you should do when on the tour ask where the bathroom is and if the guide isn't with you wonder off and say that you got lost. Wonder off till you find episode 3 evidence.

You can't rob thin-air, silly!
One more thing, bring a camcorder.
Sorry for taking so long with an update, my midterms got in the way. Nevertheless I added these to the list of questions* for Valve:
Ask about how well they think DOTA2 will go. Obviously it does not appeal to a whole lot of people, and since they are doing virtually everything the same that the first one had besides graphics, what new features will they include to draw in more customers?

How often do you create content and then scrap it to create something better?

Does Valve plan on expanding L4D1's SDK tool set (as L4D1 is pretty much dead)
How long after Portal 2's launch does Valve plan to launch its SDK.
In a recent interview Gabe Newell stated they were simplifying the SDK, elaborate.
Has Valve thought of adding video recording software to the Steam Overlay?
What was the idea behind the fourth new special infected for Left4dead 2 and why was it cut?
How does Valve plan on getting custom content to PS3 Portal 2 players?
Cold Stream is the first community campaign to be added to L4D2, will we see more in the future?
Will we see the engine improvements in Portal 2 be added to other Source based games?
What was Valve's reaction to the mutations in L4D2 being leaked a few days after The Passing launched?

Will a demo be coming out for Portal 2, and if so, will people who preordered receive first access?

Here's some nerd source sdk questions
- ETA for Source SDK update which is meant to make things easier?
- Is there going to be a Source 2009 SDK update? So we can compile OB mods for Mac OS and the like
- Is there going to be a Source SDK with code for Portal 2 (or at least for the engine so we can take advantage of the new lighting tech without the Portal 2 source)?

With the recent tech additions to engines such as Unreal Engine 3 and CryEngine 3 shown at GDC, does Valve feel like the Source Engine is falling behind? And if so, what do they plan on doing to improve their engine?

You're never going to ask this, but ask what the origin of Gabe's steam name is.
*This does not mean in any way they will get answers i will try my best no guarantees.
And yes you can still give me more questions to add.

In realtime without spending $4k on videocards alone then baked lighting mixed with "Dynamic" lighting is the best option, Hell BF3 is a good example, they use pre-calculated lighting and then pile "Dynamic"(Projected texture) lighting into it, looks good and has real nice radiosity and color bleeding.
All VALVe has to do is do streamed maps & lightmaps and Pow insta-win there.
BF3 doesn't use any pre-calculated lighting... The only thing "pre-calculated" is the radiosity grid, which can be changed by level designers whenever they need to anyway. Same with Crysis 2, the only thing predetermined is the radiosity grid, which can also be changed. Please don't refer to dynamic lighting as projected textures because they're both completely different.
Ask about a rough estimate of how many games are being worked on at the moment. Don't ask what games, just how many.
My question:
Back in the Steam for Mac open beta there was a leaked Linux binary for the Steam client, which could get as far as logging in before it crashed. Have you gone any further with that, and if so, how far along are you?
I know it's a longshot, but I and many other Linux users would like to know.

Confirmed to be no by Erik Wolpaw.
Confirmed to be no by Erik Wolpaw.
He could be misinformed / lying to surprise us. Meh, it's only another month till it comes out so who cares.
Because people who enjoy L4D2 want to play the maps in L4D2 officially with the current setup. People who still play L4D1 will continue to play L4D1 because they don't like change. You shouldn't buy L4D1 anymore, L4D2 exists. If you ever wanted to buy L4D1, you should have bought it when it was first released. And before people start bitching of the point of buying it then, there was a point: to enjoy the game when it came out. I know I did and I got a few hundred hours out of it and it's one of my favorite games.
Also why hasn't the OP updated the thread with his choices of our questions yet?
I refuse to play L4D2 because I always want to use the L4D1 dual pistols.
I'm serious. If they had the dual M1911's in L4D2, then I'd be fine, but noooo.
Is there any chance that Ep3 of HL2 could cover not only the Borealis and Kraken Base, but the cut locations for Air Exchange and the Arctic regions from the original storyline of Half Life two?
I ask this as it seems a logical way to finally finish up the trilogy and use up what's left of what's not yet covered, that can still be covered of the original story that the Combine Overwiki has revealed
Just a friendly reminder that you have till 8:30 A.M. (Seattle time) to submit your questions!
When will we see the answers?
I just got back, gimme some time to make a new thread.

You have ten minutes. Any longer than that and I release the hounds. :colbert:
