Just Cause 2 was too clean. The cities, the roads; even the jungle was too bright and saturated. I'm not saying the newfangled 'grey and brown' is a good idea, I just think that a little bit is just right.

I'm going to say Evil Genius, it looks so pretty, yet at the same time, it's immediately understandable. You can tell who's who and who does what in a quick glance, much like in TF2.

yeah it's uncharted 2, and it actually looks that good during gameplay as well, easily the best graphics out there

Oh yeah man, I still consider Riven to be one of the best and most realistic uses of computer graphics of all time. Even if Myst III was more detailed, Riven just looked better. Myst IV was just too inconsistent, one part of the image you'd have a beautifully prerendered scene, then there'd be the half-realtime stuff that looked like shit, and then the animations would look completely different(and shit). At least Myst III and Riven were consistent with that shit.

GTAIV looks amazing, even on Medium. ARMA2 looks nice, but has a FANTASTIC sound engine, I was amazed when a squadron of jets roared over my head for the first time. STALKER has a fantastic atmosphere too.

The most beautiful graphics are not necessarily the most realistic graphics.

Reality already exists, trying to simulate it will only be a slightly uglier reality.

Therefore, I think that Wind Waker is the most beautiful game ever.
