The most beautiful or good looking game you've played?

I think that Bionic Commando does have some good moments :colbert:
besides eveything else already said in this thread, final fantasy 13 really had some moments.
I say TF2

It's beauty of art, even with smaller count of polygons than Crysis etc.
Yoshi's Island, I love the hand drawn-like design.
I must say, Homeworld 2 is from 2004 or something, but the artistry is so well done it holds up even to the very best efforts of today, and often ends up looking better too. It's almost timeless. It's predecessor, while very pretty too, has been dated a bit too much by the hardware limits of the time, but HW2 had enough power to play with that the graphics became timeless.

Call of Duty 2 and Condemned: Criminal Origins looked really good back in 05!

Shadow of the Colossus
Freelancer isn't bad looking either. Kinda dated but it's still pretty.

Especially as you move out into some of the more crazy systems.

Arma 2
The storms in Red Dead Redemption are amazing.
Oblivion
GTA IV
Crysis
RE5
Mirror´s Edge, like said before.
Crysis and Far Cry have great graphics, but i just do not like them. Both are very generic. I would say Fallout 3 was pretty impressiv, when i left the Vault, i was like :HOLY FUCK!
XIII is also very original, and i liked the style it had.
I think Demon's Souls is beautiful, I like the dark and destroyed environments.
Metro 2033, the atmosphere and graphics and the sounds were amazing... :iia:

Metro 2033 looks better than crysis.

Crysis doesn't beat Metro in terms of awesomeness :iia:

Hell yeah
First time I've seen a videogame use an artistic style to improve gameplay
God of War 3 and Uncharted 2.
I knew Red Dead Redemption was supposed to look great, but when I started playing I was blown away. Some of the sunsets and huge mountains in Mexico make your jaw drop.

I really liked Resident Evil 5. It looked so good, with the motion blur and all. Realistic and beautiful at the same time.
[QUOTE=Kanebro;22387712]Super Mario Galaxy 2

This one is probably better.

Although small, it shows the Art Style and Color of the game.

PS Awesome Game, I recommend it.
Jet Set Radio looks amazing especially since it was one of the first cel shaded games.

Mirrors Edge, GTA IV (in Times square when its raining. Hearing the hum from the street lights, and the reflections are awesome), and Chaos Theory.
Super Mario Galaxy 2
and
Call of Duty 4
The Hunter /end of discussion.

Flower from the PSN.
Its just, amazing.
[QUOTE=woodchuck34;22368561]What the title says, post the game that you think is the most beautiful! It's not necessarily the game with the best graphics, but the mood and the atmosphere or just the whole graphical style all together.
In my opinion, mine has got to be Mirror's Edge. The whole huge sprawling urban center with a bunch of huge majestic skyscrapers. I also love how it is really clean and and what not. Good colors too.
