Pic is broken
Edited it to make it the link instead.
underage poster
More like an underage poster but that has a better mind than most of the others. [editline]01:23AM[/editline]
I don't think they have any dialogue...
Well I was thinking, since there is a level with them, don't you think they oughta say anything? Even from pain, or complaining, or crying, anything.
I don't think they have any dialogue...
what about death sounds :q:
That's the worst cremator I've ever seen you suck mugofdoom
It seems as though everyone else likes it, so I wouldn't say he's doing bad.
It seems as though everyone else likes it, so I wouldn't say he's doing bad.
the joke flew ----------- marcolade's head
I don't think they have any dialogue...
You could give them generic lines like the citizens. I'd love to do the "Sometimes, I dream about cheese" line for a boy worker. Edit: Cremator looks perfect except for one thing that could be changed quickly if need be. I think the skin should be a bit paler, so it'd look less human.
Edited it to make it the link instead.
Still doesn't work. Reupload it somewhere else.
Still doesn't work. Reupload it somewhere else.
That's weird, it works for me.
That's weird, it works for me. [img][/img]
There we go. The trenchcoats would be hard to animate, but we haven't really considered messing with the Metrocop much.
the joke flew ----------- marcolade's head
What joke?
There we go. The trenchcoats would be hard to animate, but we haven't really considered messing with the Metrocop much.
I see. I don't know the first thing about animating, but I always just thought it'd be cool to have these guys in the game (or in this case, this mod). Just something to consider :p
What joke?
hahaha
hahaha
jerkface mccocksucker oh wait, you're probably going to ban me for that oh well
Yeah.
Sweet. Another question, is Vertigo gonna be in it, and if yes, which Episode?
Funny because everyone on the page has a dumb rate.
There we go. The trenchcoats would be hard to animate, but we haven't really considered messing with the Metrocop much.
Really. I saw models on Taco N Banana HL2RP servers with Metrocop trenchcoat guys, and it was a costume model.
Sweet. Another question, is Vertigo gonna be in it, and if yes, which Episode?
Vertigo is planned, however that set of maps takes place right near the end of the old story arc. If we continue with creating the entire old story, and in order, and if we make it that far then it will be a pleasant surprise tbh.
Or something like: "That kid has a dad! I want a dad!"
"Sometimes my daddy says he dreams about cheese."
"Listen to your Dad, son. Keep making those cremators or I will have to smack you in the face with my stun baton."
"Sometimes my daddy says he dreams about cheese."
'And to think that my daddy wanted to sell shirts.'
So that picture in the banner on your moddb page looks custom made. Is it?
Yes, one of our artists made it (Isotope)
Hey mug, can I do voice acting for the children? No, I'm dead serious.
Record some sample lines (make some up), and send them in PM to me.
'And to think that my daddy wanted to sell shirts.'
I thought he said insurance.
Just wondering, will the Get your Free TVs tech demo be in this mod? http://half-life.wikia.com/wiki/Get_Your_Free_TVs!
Just wondering, will the Get your Free TVs tech demo be in this mod? http://half-life.wikia.com/wiki/Get_Your_Free_TVs!
Get Your Free TVs predates almost everything. It really doesn't fit into anything much, nor do we know what Valve wanted out of it - we don't know what happens in it, specifically, and this seems particularly short for what we do know was going to happen (unlike the E3 '03 maps, for example). I don't think it'll fit anywhere with the new "let's do what gaben was going to do except without fixing source and cs:s and tf2" tack MI seems to have taken.

However with that said, I suppose since it's a rather well known map we could include a reference to it during the uprising, modified to suit, it would fit there somewhat afterall.

Think it was showing off the AI [editline]06:42AM[/editline] Get Your Free TVs! was the very first Half-Life 2 test level to be created in 2001 when the Valve development team had only a rough script of the game, some concept art and was experimenting the new technology.[1] It consisted in a test sequence designed to highlight all the new technology created for the game and test the NPCs and physics, not to be included in the final product. Based on a very early Source engine, this sequence was the real start of the game development. from combine over wiki
I thought it was an NPC Melee combat test?
Good thing about it was that NPCs had hand-to-hand combat which would be nice if they could get it in MI
I can say already that, that's not going to happen. On another note, Moddb got their annual Mod of the Year contest going, and Missing Information made it to the top100. If you think Missing Information is worthy (or just don't know who else to vote for) then vote for us. Especially if you like the content we've been posting in this thread :)! Thanks for the support!
