Didn't mean to offend, i like it, but every map i play is glitchy or dead ended. I understand this is because they are from the beta, but a lot of them seem pointless.
The weapons are all great, the npcs are great, it's just the levels that cut off that seem odd. Even just having a texture saying "the end" would be good, so i don't end up wandering about looking for something i missed.

This is really fucking awesome, although I do have to ask, are you making your own levels, rather than recreating the old ones now? I know you're keeping to the concepts, but d3_borealis was actually about halfway through the game, if you made mi_10_borealis or something it'd be easier to keep the game in order.

We're remaking old maps from scratch and making our own levels to fill in the holes.
I have a question regarding some of your mapping directions.
A lot of areas have been left completely blank map wise. I assume you just going to make them up as you go? It's really all you can do. Now on to the real question: Why does the E3 Borealis and the MI Borealis differ so much? The very first thing I noticed was the completely different path taken by the player. Did you just make that path up? Why not use the path from the E3 video?

They're two completely different maps. The Borealis in 1.5 is actually a highly modified version from the leaked wc-mappack version that one of our old team members (forgot who) fixed up to have Odell and whatnot in it. The final version will be completely redone.
The E3 map was made solely to look pretty and fun.

The nuke and the oilwells look pretty good, the core, to me anyway, just looks like a single sprite, the rest ships with Ep2, namely the water and the muzzle smoke, which we're already implementing, and the muzzle flash we're already working on as well and have got it mostly implemented.
How about this, you make us a good physgun beam particle that looks awesome (just go crazy with it, no need to make it exactly like the original, it just needs to be the same color, and it has to go between two points) and we'll consider it.
