I've had some good times with the Halo series and three friends over.
I remember in one game on Halo 2 I think, me and my three friends stayed on one team and the rest of the server went on the other team (12 people versus us 4). We ended up playing a completely one-sided game in our favour winning the match easily and then getting kicked for being "Hackers" and "Faggots".
If it were not for the community Halo could easily be a well liked game.
Put the games in order of release.
Halo was made before iron sight view was a popular feature
Oh and I thought it would of been here sooner.
Hey, i came in here to bitch about Halo.
Imo, the only good one, was the first one.

Clocked it in 6 hrs, on normal.
me and my brother freakin love halo all the way from first to last their isnt even one horrible halo game at all
Yes there is, Halo Wars is a disgrace to RTS and Halo alike, good thing Microsoft shut down Ensemble Studios so they didn't have to bear the brunt of the abuse.
"hurr im gona jump on da :bandwagon: and r8 u dum hur"
I have ODST in my collection. I pop in the Multiplayer disc. Invite a bunch of friends and play some Big Team, and I have a shit load of fun. What a shocker.
But due to everyone assuming the game is listen to screaming little kids, it's not. That's what parties are for. :v:
Aest. PM me if anyone wants to try and get a game going sometime.
halo 1 needs to get its ass on steam so i can play custom edition.
When will people learn? Anything posted about halo on this forum will get completely raped by boxes.
I didn't know that the Halo history was that complicated. Was a good read.

Nobody gives a shit, except the people rating box.

NOTE: Brother in Team Slayer.
I've never been able to get into the single player. Story/gameplay just never drew me in.
If the mulitplayer was sold separately I'd probably buy it.
soo... the majority of people..?
Probably. But if you do have a problem with it, bitch and complain somewhere else. Like with a bunch of other Half-Life fanboys.

I like Half-Life AND Halo, so yeah.
Anyone wanna hit up a ODST firefight match?
Guys, the Halo games are pretty fun. Especially if you have friends.
I hope Halo 3 comes out for the PC. I have only played the first and second one for the xbox.
Halo is great period. Although the second one, in my opinion, felt really stiff and bland. The level design in the first and third games was brilliant and the gameplay was average. The story, however, is extremely good and the music, as always, is just plain amazing.

Why is there no thanks rating
[editline]11:15PM[/editline]
holy shit dude this is great
I think I prefer the first Halo over the others because the weapons were balanced.
There weren't as many instant kill weapons as there were in the sequels. Also, having a health bar and a shield was a great combination.
Also, Race was one of the funnest game types and they shouldn't have cut it in the later games :colbert:
Oh how I love Halo
First Xbox game I ever had
I prefer Halo:CE too
I love some stuff in the halo franchise, but I dislike Halo 3 in a lot of ways, I loved ODST, but I sold it because I wanted some extra money, and I think Halo Wars is shitty.
Halo 1 and 2 are great, mainly because you can play them on PC :D.
I contributed by giving a box
ill be peacing now

One word: pistol.

I don't think 'amazing' quite does the music justice. Halo's music ranges from epic (as in literally 'epic', as in the genre, not like, "OLOLOL EPIC GUYS!"), to calm, serene, awe-inspiring pieces.
The last level of Halo 3, aptly named Halo, starts with a part that's really calm and awe-inspiring (Halo Reborn) then by the end of the level it's the classic Halo tune (albeit it like 230453074123 times more awesome this time 'round) making you think, "FUCK YEAH!"
I was mainly thinking of Assault on the Control Room.
That was one of the best maps
If you have 4 controllers and friends to play with halo 3 is good too.
Can't play 4 on same box

When someone got you in their pistol sights it was basically instant kill. More or less.
