• "User reviews" are no longer reliable for PC games, now it's just agenda bullshit

Read general information about game, gameplay layout (for instance, if it's a first person shooter: is it a stealth based or run'n'gun or something else), watch videos (optional: play demo) and that's all you need to decide for buying a game or not. Fuck reviews, they're for dumbfucks who can't form their own opinion or to gain money from adverts.
Reviews are nothing but opinions, like I explained to guy that rated me funny here in the Dragon Age II thread, don't use others' opinions to create own, create them by playing the actual games. A game may suck to you, but not for others and vice-versa. That's why I don't give a crap about the user reviews on Metacritic on DAII, because most of them are bashing for what the game is, or isn't, or what it should be. And the ones that are not bashing, get bashed anyway. The game is fun for me, shouldn't be that enough for me?
No, shutup DA2 sucks when compared to the first one, that's why people raided the shit out of user reviews. it's certainly better than paid reviews too, but reviews should never be used as an absolute truth, they are general opinions on a game and if you take those as an absolute truth you are the one doing it wrong.

Them? Probably. Me? No. I love the game, already on my second playthrough, I plan to play more later. And yes, reviews never should be taken as a absolute truth, but that never stops people, doesn't?
Then theres the best of all... For example, people cry and cry that Crysis 1 is completly different from the second. That the second completly disses the first. Fun fact, is that a huge ammount of people sometimes rage over games that are the same exact thing compared to their predecessors. One good example of this is the newer CoD's, where people say their all the same shit, just with a different timeline and story to them. Crysis does the complete opposite of this, changes lots of things, and people still rage...
It's not necessarily hypocritical. I think there's a sweet spot in between that involves refining the gameplay through subtle innovations, rather than starting from scratch or repackaging the same game.

Big reviewers like IGN and GameStop, in my opinion, review based not on what they think, but what they think their fans will think of it.
the whole point of reviews is to give an idea of the quality based on facts
You're aware that there's no such thing as an objective review?
