What misprint?
Since when does Valve develop DNF?
They were probably going to award Half-Life 2 Episode 3 the title, but then they decided not to.
Well it soon will be Valve there.
Two epic games together to create... Half nukem!
Duke-Life would be better
What really caught my eye was that it said "videogame", that's not a word, they need a space.
Videojuego is one word. Why would videogame be two?
Indesputable proof that the people who write this shit know fuck all about video games and just decided this would be a good cash cow.
I was going to buy it till I saw this.
That is really fuzzy, go get a better camera or I'm not looking for it.
Haha. Guiness be trollin' Valve Time.
It says "Longest Videogame Development Period. Holder: DUKE NUKEM FORVER (Valve corporation) With over 11 years passing since its official announcement in 1998, Duke Nukem Forever remains trapped in development hell. After a flurry of new screenshots in late 2008, the saga took a sad turn in may 2009 when"
Valve is most likely feeling honored right at this very moment.
I would laugh if valve decided to buy the DN franchise after reading this
Videojuego is one word. Why would videogame be two?
Because there are differences between Spanish and English.
Damnit Valve hurry up and release it.
Damnit Valve hurry up and release it.
Valve time. :cop:
FUCK THAT SHIT, longest video game development time "half life 2:episode 3"
Quite frankly, I don't even understand why they have to make these world record of video game books, you make a misprint in a book, your fucked, and so is history. Additionally, this reminds me the one time of when Disney Adventure magazine made one issue about video games, and if you think this book is fucked up, just wait til you get your hands on that piece of work, they get titles, developers, button configuration and consoles wrong, I don't know what else this World Record book did, but it is not uncommon for publishers to screw up on game facts. After this, I never saw Disney do a magazine on videogames ever again, besides I don't know why they would do something not their usual age field, but hopefully the Disney film adaptation of Prince of Persia is just to the game series. Something tells me though that Guiness unlike Disney will still publish these videogame books despite bad reading, and not correct the mistake they made. However, if Valve really was doing DNF? Wouldn't you rather trust them to finish the job, or not because the Episode Three wait?
FUUUUUU missed the episode 3 jokes
I got a reply RE: Valve Miss print‏ From: Gabe Newell (gaben@valvesoftware.com) Sent: 18 January 2010 19:54:57 Nope. Sent: Monday, January 18, 2010 11:42 AM To: Gabe Newell Subject: Valve Miss print I saw this in the Gamers edition of the Guinness Book of world records. It says Valve are making Duke Nukem Forever Pics are attached
Valve is a collective singular noun. Valve IS making a game. The class IS taking a nap. Not Valve ARE making a game The class ARE taking a nap.
