Not necessarily, look at L4D
Co-Op games with 4 players against tons of enemies require teamwork no matter what. I'm talking about FPS deathmatch games or such.

You can form a posse on Red Dead Redemption and basically do stuff in the open world that requires a team.
You can form a posse on Red Dead Redemption and basically do stuff in the open world that requires a team.
when does that ever work?
when does that ever work?
Well in the multiplayer you basically can do whatever you want in the singleplayer world with other people. For co-op you could take on gang hideouts, do challenges, and there's some deathmatch type modes too.
If you want teamwork, try competitive gaming. Competitive TF2 requires teamwork.

Play Men of War with friends. I've been playing it for over a year now with the same people. It's awesome!
In free roam you press either the select or back button and it will show you the players names. You can select their name to start a new posse or you can request to join theirs if they are already in one.
Counter-Strike :downs:
MAG or the earlier battlefields I never really saw much team work in BC2

ARMA 2. Though it's probably too much teamwork, seeing as you think playing gears of war takes "teamwork"
RDR with friends in freeroam is tons of fun.
Move along unless you have a "horde survival" type game for the OP, which is the only thing he's looking for.
FarCry instincts predator 3 people are enough. make a Predator Map 1 is the predator, the other 2 need to activate the device to defeat the predator
