You can still see the transparent artifact menu in the inventory screen.
Holden, I hate you. You released 1.1 before I could get a working GPU. Now everyone has LURK but me. :crying:
For those of you who are complaining about the High Dynamic Range being too intense: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=52LK8QAH This will give you more options, including severely dropping the HDR value. "Why can't I use the console?" You can, but one of the functions we use in order to increase the level of options we have for has to utilize a workaround that spams commands into the console. However you can use it just fine using the pause button, or using the console in the menu. The weather is pretty bright and pretty at the start of the game, but it progressively becomes more saturated with cloudy and overcast.
but whats up with the insta-rich suits
Typos. Typos everywhere.
but whats up with the insta-rich suits
Debug Items?
I got two merc suits in the beginning of the game. They were the same condition, same stats and everything. Only one was 29999 RU and the other was 14999 RU. I sold the more expensive one, and I was instantly rich.
How come every duty member at the army warehouses are Exo's?
Every time I start a new game, Cordon gets rushed by about 10 military guys with no remorse. What the fuck.
oh hey i remember caring about lurk 1.1 last year yeahh..
Nice avatar.
K1ngo, are there additional commands to change the sky brightness? Turning off fast-bloom makes the game feel a little...flat
I like the stats system in 1.1. A lot better than vanilla's system. Although Sid's head is... very shiny... Very shiny...

Loving LURK so far, couple complaints though. 1. No indication of what ammo type I'm currently using. For a mod that ties ballistics to ammo types, this is kinda important. 2. Suit degradation. I entered the Garbage with a unspoiled Merc suit, and before I reached the Agroprom it was more than halfway destroyed. With only 3 traders in the game to fix my shit, this makes me nervous. 3. Sleeping. I'm gonna need instructions on how to re-enable sleeping bags because fuck if I'm going to wait around all day in the Agroprom to sneak into the base by night, and double fuck if I'm going to go all the way to the Bar/Cordon--two map changes either way--to sleep This is made worse by the slower timescale (which I'm fine with).

It does tell you. Look in the bottom right corner of your screen near the ammo counter, and change ammunition. It should have a few letters that tell you what ammo it is 2. I'm fine with it currently 3. I sort of agree. This first morning is crawling along sooooo sllooooowwwllyyyyy
K1ngo, are there additional commands to change the sky brightness? This first morning is crawling along sooooo sllooooowwwllyyyyy
I have no ammo counter. Is something wrong? I have an issue with things like #2 because I don't want to be tethered to traders--for example, having to turn back halfway through the red forest because my suit is too damaged to protect me, and then hike across the Army Warehouses back to the Bar so I can pay out the ass to have it repaired, then go back out and have the same thing happen would just kill the game for me. The only solutions I've seen are to tone down suit damage or (my preferred option) give the player some way to repair gear in the field. tl;dr traders take a long time to get to and I don't want to stop and visit one every half a day.
Rate me whatever you want me to, but why is everyone so hyped for LURK? Hasn't it been out for a while? Also I have never played a modded STALKER game so I am kind of new to the whole Oblivion Lost and AMK and whatever scene.
It's the new version thats out Everyone and their dogs are jizzing over the NEW anime porn called LURK 1.1 except it sucks

It's definitely a pretty narrow interpretation of how the game world should work, so it's sort of a love it/hate it kind of mod. I think it's, for the most part, great. Not for those new to the Zone. Anyone know where i can get a pso scope in the cordon?
Alright, here's a bug list I've got so far: - Certain missions have early detection, meaning NPC's will see each other and make it difficult to progress quests, one of the most obvious would be the bandit raid at the car park at the Cordon. - HUD effects not shown in the inventory. Not a high priority fix. - Area's such as Sidorovich's bunker and The Barkeep's Bar have overbearing effects that don't transition from above ground to underground properly. - NPC's point their weapons in the wrong direction occasionally when firing, but still are leading bullets to you (Vanilla error, no known fix that is unlikely to be solved). - Default HDR is a little too strong? This feature is fairly polarizing and it has a variant for other preferences but otherwise it can still be subject to tweaking later on. - Trader economy will pay quite a bit for suits. Not necessarily a bug but a quality control issue as it's unintended. Some values to other S.T.A.L.K.E.R.'s for economy are odd as well. - Inventory suit condition bar doesn't move. We can't figure out the problem with this but clicking the suit and viewing the condition there is fine. - Armor degradation too rapid? This was intended, the repair costs are dramatically lower then before, and it is encouraged that you repair them frequently. Please note that this decision may have been influenced by realism but was ultimately a mechanic that best suited our interests to make repairs an important aspect of the game. - Medkit won't update? That's because the Scientific Medkit is broken. Refrain from using them as they're known to cause the issue. Fix is likely to come soon. If you use one then the problem can be solved by reloading a save. - Crash from missing ammo? This one is baffling because we don't recall ever adding an ammo with a "1ammo" in the name. We're investigating a workaround if need be but the primary goal is to find the root of the problem. - Grass texture too bland? This was a decision made to reduce texture tiling, but we are going to try and take more advantage of mipmap fading to reduce that problem without sacrificing detail at close range. - AI detection errors in places where sun doesn't directly hit? This is a fairly global problem with light detection that only comes with a system of tradeoffs. We're looking for a workaround script that can change their light threshold depending on weather but for now it's an issue that will have to be dealt with for the time being. - Typos? They'll get fixed but they're a low priority. - If you're getting a crash at launch then you're doing something wrong. If it doesn't return a stack trace in the crash log then you're doing it wrong. Please investigate any errors you may have made in installation and requirements before mentioning any issues regarding this to me. - Too easy? You either aren't far enough in the game or you're seriously crazy. Anything worth adding?
I don't think you can...I got one from Skinflint though. You can also get one from Barkeep. [editline]08:19AM[/editline] "- Certain missions have early detection, meaning NPC's will see each other and make it difficult to progress quests, one of the most obvious would be the bandit raid at the car park at the Cordon." That happened for me :frown: [editline]08:19AM[/editline] Also Holden. I love you.
Alright, here's a bug list I've got so far: Anything worth adding?
Seems perfect to me. Just fix it :v: [editline]3:21 AM[/editline] Also, Holden, i love you more than famasfan
Should there be an ammo counter? I don't have one. Also, I think that if repairs are such an important part of the game, you shouldn't have to, on average, cross 1-2 entire maps to get them done. There are simply too many areas that are very, very far from any trader, such as Agroprom or anything further than Army Warehouses. I foresee much frustration when people start dying of radiation in Pripyat with no reasonable way to fix their shit.
Yeah, repair kits like in AMK would be awesome. They wouldn't have to repair your stuff completely, maybe like 50-75% of it. Also, i keep hearing explosions at the military base in the cordon. What gives?
Shit! Lurk is out and i no longer have winrar :smithicide:

Just make them rare enough that you hoard one or two for those times when you're too far away from a trader to backtrack without a bunch of grief. Even better, get 7zip instead of winrar
Kingo your links aren't working :smith:
