S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Series Megathread: R.I.P. Kostya Polar Explorer - Games

I just can't find weapon modification.

Oh Holden: The Rapid Fire AK-74 found on Streloks Hideout is a RK TP, but the Skin for it is still a AK-74. After the enconter with the controller, my "mental state" hasnt gone up, so I'm still seeing double. Quicksaving and Quickloading wont fix it.

I just can't enjoy LURK 1.1. It's so dull and uninteresting. But then again I don't think it's the mods fault. I've grown way tired of STALKER already, since I've been playing pretty much every day for 2 years the day SoC came out. Specially when this mod doesn't even change any main missions and it's all just a graphical overhaul with added weapons and other minor stuff, I'll pass.

How would I go about getting rid of my other mod I had so I can get SOC.

I just deleted my old SHOC that I was in the middle of for no reason? Fuck. Wait so is there the overhauled arena or no? I don't care about weapon modding, I just want that arena.

Meh, L.U.R.K. is refreshing enough for me to have another playthrough. The next S.T.A.L.K.E.R. better be vastly better though. As much as I like each game, especially CoP, I can't handle another one that is so similar is feel. They are going to have to rebuild all of their artwork and models again, and really work on cinematic moments for the story (lip sync, general character animations.) The open-world and exploration feel needs to be brought back, perhaps even throw out the level system and make the game a single streaming world.

Plus it's uploaded by Holden, it's the "Preview" doesn't seem false to me. Honestly that and Arena were the only things I was really looking forward to. Lurk 1.1 seems like one step forward two steps back with the hud removal and such. As much as I like the new weapons improved Arena and weapon modding would be nicer.

I found a mod recently from the russian modding community that remakes the 1935-2205 beta era storyline in SHOC, they've included the Dead City, the Generators, the Warlab and the secret X10 lab as new levels. I'm in the process of translating everything, then I'm going to re-pack the whole mod and release it.

Also in LURK 1.1 you cant even put artifacts on your belt >:(

You can't use artifacts in LURK, he redid that aspect because stalkers were meant to sell them. Also, does anyone else have a permanently blurry screen in LURK 1.1? I can't get rid of it after fighting that controller in agroprom underground. I restarted the game, and it still started. It's really weird, and also makes the game unplayable.

My comp CTD when I change resolution in-game. I'm only on static lighting with LURK. Never had this problem before.
